"So, can I now know who you might be and what’s the purpose of your visit here?" I carefully asked the man who was busy finishing the meal that Jazpher served. "I’m Beta Holmes of the Crimson Moon Pack," he introduced himself, then stood firmly with his closed fist on his chest. "The Alpha ordered me to fetch you from this useless clan," he added, which made the king click his tongue. Dawn suddenly got up from his seat in the middle, then approached Beta Holmes with such ferocity in his eyes. "Useless? You better watch your words, Nero. You’re in my territory; you should know what would happen if you mess up with me," he coldly said.

"Follow Butler Zen to your lighting ceremony’s venue. It’s almost time for it to commence," he added before he left. I glanced at the butler, who shrugged his shoulders after I gave him a meaningful look. Minutes flew by. I was surrounded by people I wasn’t familiar with. The expression in their eyes clearly states how much they couldn’t wait for me to be one with their alpha. Even if they don’t really say it, I can tell that they only want to make use of me. Once my purpose here is done, they’ll probably throw me out of their pack as well, or worse, kill me.
