As much as I didn't want to interfere with the two, Jazpher scared me with how worried he looked. I glanced at the butler, who shrugged his shoulders after I gave him a meaningful look. Minutes flew by. I was surrounded by people I wasn’t familiar with. The expression in their eyes clearly states how much they couldn’t wait for me to be one with their alpha. Even if they don’t really say it, I can tell that they only want to make use of me. Once my purpose here is done, they’ll probably throw me out of their pack as well, or worse, kill me.
