Mira's heart thumped against her chest vigorously as she jolted on the bed. Cohen woke up by her sudden movement.
"Babe, what's wrong? Are you feeling sick?" Cohen asked, touching her forehead as if he wanted to feel her body temperature.
Mira didn't answer him and rushed to the patio. She looked up at the sky, and her electric blue eyes changed to crimson red. Thousands of four-winged beings flying in the sky, swirling around as if they were waiting for their prey to come out.
"What the hell?" Cohen said as he joined Mira on the patio.
