Chapter 3 The Space in the Bracelet

After dinner, Murong Xue returned to her room. She remembered the bracelet that she gave Xiao Keli in her last life. Her Grandma had given it to her and warned her repeatedly that it was a piece of treasure that had been passed down from the Helian Family. Her grandmother was from the Helian Family, which had declined later. Grandma asked her to take good care of it. Because of grandma’s words, she did not agree to give it to Xiao Keli despite that she had begged her for a long time. She just said that she lent it to Xiao Keli to wear for some time. But the result was that it was still possessed by Xiao Keli by lying to her that it was missing.

After carefully locking the door from the inside, Murong Xue found the bracelet from the antique box that she collected. The bracelet looked very ordinary at the first sight. However, when she got it near her eyes to take a careful look, the lifelike carved phoenix could still be seen on the rust-stained appearance. During the last life, Xiao Keli said there was a space in it. But how to open it on earth? She carefully searched it, not letting go of every trace of detail. However, she did not find any strange place that could be opened. Did it need to be opened by dropping blood on it?

At the thought of this, Murong Xue bit her finger and dripped the blood onto her bracelet. In a flash, the colorful light sent out from the bracelet, making her eyes ache. The inconspicuous appearance of the bracelet gradually fell off, on which the purple which was as magnificent as a treasure slowly circulated along the trace of phoenix. The phoenix on the bracelet at the moment seemed to be alive with dazzling colors. All of a sudden, with a swirl of wind, Murong Xue disappeared abruptly.

Was here the so-called space? In front of Murong Xue’s eyes, there was a vast expanse of land, with a waterfall flowing from a lofty mountain in the distance and a semi-circular pool of crystal-clear water below. The breeze blew her face, bringing a fragrance of grass. The scene was like a fairyland.

Murong Xue walked carefully along the direction of the waterfall. As she got closer and closer to the waterfall, she could faintly see an antique small building behind the waterfall. When Murong Xue arrived at the waterfall, only to find that it should not be called a small building, because it was as high as half of the mountain stream. It stood behind the mountain stream magnificently. Next to the waterfall, there was a magical spring, whose water was constantly surging from underground. This should be the magical spring that Xiao Keli mentioned before her death.

Murong Xue got the water from the magical spring with her hands and took a sip. Immediately, she felt refreshed with her body being lighter. It was really a good thing! No wonder Xiao Keli during her last time relied on this magical spring to get protection from some big families. Crossing this magical spring carefully, Murong Xue wanted to cross the mountain stream but she found that there seemed to be a barrier in the air blocking her way.

Murong Xue reached for the barrier with her hands. Suddenly, there was an eerie ripple in the air, and then a visible, twisted, and semi-curved vortex cracked. Before Murong Xue could react, a force of suction suddenly appeared to drag her in.

When Murong Xue came to her mind, she found herself sitting in the open lot in front of the building, safe and sound. The two sides of the small building were separated by various irregularly shaped stones and fences with some herbs planted on one side. The herbs were well arranged, which showed the care from the former owner. On the other side, countless fruit trees were planted. The cobblestone path in the middle was just big enough for one person to pass. Murong Xue lifted her feet and set foot on the cobblestone path leading to the small building. From the outside, it seemed that the small building got a total of 9 floors, gorgeous and magnificent. Two jade lions were standing on both sides of the door, which was red with bronze rings. On the left side, there was a large stone wall, which was engraved with some huge characters "Phoenix Space".

Collecting her thoughts, Murong Xue raised her hand to gently knock on the door knockers. The copper knockers made a dull sound on the thick door panels. She stood in front of the door and waited quietly. However, after some time she found that there was no movement inside the door. Then she opened the door carefully.

She saw a large hall. In the middle of the hall, there was a stone table on which a book was placed. On both sides of the hall, there were two rooms, on which the plaques clearly indicated the functions of the rooms. The two rooms were the Herbal Pavilion and the Ancient Medical Library. It seemed that Xiao Keli really got a great bargain during the last life.

Murong Xue actually overthought. During the last life, Xiao Keli didn't come here. Originally, there were bans in the space that only people with a blood connection to the Helian Family could come in. The reason why Xiao Keli could open it during the last life was that it had already been a long time since the bans were set. Its power was weakened a lot so that she got the bargain. Even if she opened the space, she could only travel in outer space, which was near the waterfall. And Xiao Keli had never been unable to pass that barrier all the time.

Murong Xue did not rush into the room to check but went to the front of the stone table. She found that there were four big characters written on the hard cover of the book on the table: Nine Turns Phoenix Stitch. Murong Xue opened the book. The first page introduced Phoenix Space in detail. However, the origin of the space was not clear. She could only know that this space was equivalent to a small world, which had its own rules and a complete ecosystem.

And the Phoenix Space had been handed over to the direct blood of the descent from the Helian Family from generation to generation. Now the Helian Family had long declined, but the phoenix bracelet still survived.

Murong Xue again turned to the second page, on which several golden characters were written: Nine Turns Phoenix Stitch. Then there was nothing. It was strange. The stitch was supposed to be written. Why there was nothing? Was there a mechanism? She put her hands over the words. Suddenly, there was a golden light, shooting into Murong Xue’s body. In a flash, the detailed introduction of Nine Turns Phoenix Stitch sprang up in her mind. It was medical acupuncture. Even Murong Xue who had lived twice could not help jumping up happily. With a glance, she could know that this was not an ordinary item. With this, another guarantee was added to her life.

Later, Murong Xue casually went into the room to have a search. Even though she had seen much of the world, she was still amazed by those things inside. There were countless herbs and ancient medical books with surprisingly high value.

Murong Xue felt that she had stayed in the space for too long. In case that her family found her missing, she had better go out as soon as possible. When she got spare time, she could come in and study it carefully again.

When Murong Xue came out to check the time, she found that only a few seconds had passed. Did the time fly differently in the space? It seemed that the space had so many benefits. During this life, she swore that she must be strong and powerful enough to protect her family well. Let that couple of paramours go to hell!

However, the bracelet was too gorgeous. Everyone could find it extraordinary by one look. It would be so good if the bracelet could be invisible. Just when Murong Xue was thinking of it, the bracelet around her wrist suddenly disappeared, leaving only a golden phoenix sign, which made Murong Xue's delicate wrist look much lighter in color. Others would only think that it was a tattoo, not as eye-catching as the original appearance of the bracelet.

Murong Xue ordered it to appear again in her mind secretly. As expected, the bracelet appeared on her wrist again. So now she was not so worried that the secret would be seen through. After all, there were all kinds of people in the world. For such treasure, needless to say, if the secret was leaked out, she was absolutely unable to escape from the fate of being killed and being robbed of the treasure. The key was to be strong enough. Only when she became strong enough could she avoid being bullied, so that she could protect her family.
