Chapter 121

(Lily’s Pov)

I wandered off having no direction in mind, there was no place for me to lay my head, all I did was walk around and then sit at a corner to rest when I’m tired and then at night I would sleep by the corners of people’s stores after they’ve closed for the day. It was hell for me because I was almost due and I had nothing on me, all the money I had were gone, I had so many things that I needed but most importantly I was looking for food.

For a week and half, I lived on the money I got from the people who were kind enough to help me after seeing my condition, but none were willing to take me in. However, I was grateful for the penny they gave me, at least I bought food with them.

My eyes shot open in alarm in the middle of the night when I heard a door creak open. I would up from my slumber immediately and it was the owner of the store where I laid my head.

"get off my store" he yelled at me with his voice sharp.

"Please sir, just for the night and I will be gone" I pleased,
