MasukAlexander’s POV
For a building that looked so lifeless, it sure as hell was packed. There were lot more people in the building than I had anticipated.
I had expected Adrian to have some security, but this? This was an army.
Good thing I brought my own. The best of the best and we had come with a solid proof plan.
We moved in like shadows, splitting into three teams, each entering from different points to corner Adrian’s men. It was textbook strategy- divide, conquer, and annihilate. And it worked.
Alexander’s POVI stood in the doorway with my arms crossed, as I watched my wife and sister finally embrace, the tension that once separated them melting away.Maya was a strong and compassionate woman and I couldn’t be happier to her as my wife and mother of my children. While Natasha? She might be stubborn, hot tempered and sometimes stupid but she was a good person and I was happy that she found the courage to admit that she did wrong and ask for forgiveness.Maya was strong enough to forgive my sister and push it aside and I couldn’t help but feel so proud of the both of them as I watched them hug each other.
Maya’s POV“How are you feeling today?” She asked ever so softly and I was surprised to see that she wasn’t asking about the baby but rather about me.“I feel much better,” I replied honestly. “I’m still tired but the doctor said everything is going as it should. So that’s that and the baby is going just fine.”Letting out a sigh of relief, she squeezed on my hand again, it was light and I could barely feel it. “That’s what I like to you, it’s important that you’re fine and healthy. After you are alright and in perfect condition then we can think of the baby.&rdqu
Maya’s POVI woke up to an empty bed and the side where Alex usually slept was cold. I frowned slightly as I raised my hands to rub against my eyes and pushed myself up. He was beside me before I fell asleep after he had massaged my legs just the way I liked it and now he was gone.I was slightly confused but I shrugged it off because knowing how Alex was, he probably had something important to deal with- something he didn’t want me to know about otherwise, he would have told me.I swung my legs over the edge of the bed and got out. My body was sluggish and the movement took more strength than usual as I stood up. I let out a small bu
Alexander’s POVThe air in the basement was thick, damp, suffocating and it smelled of blood mixed with sweat. And whatever waste it was that Adrian had been producing- his body fluids made the air very pungent and I wanted to throw up but I held myself and walked forward. I had to do this no matter how disgusting the place smelled. The room was dimly lit and the only bulb that illuminated the room was flickering like it was about to give out as it casted eerie looking shadows across Adrian’s wounded and battered body. He looked all shabby and unkempt- his clothes were torn, his hair greasy and matted with dried blood and his face was both swollen and bruised.
Alexander’s POV“Alright, baby girl, final spoon, and then you can go back to bed.”Maya turned her head away, her nose scrunching up in pure disgust. “I don’t wanna. It tastes like horse shit.”I couldn’t help but laugh at her antics.“And how do you know what horse shit tastes like?” I asked and I watched her silently as she pouted her lips like a child whose favorite candy had been snatched from them. She
Maya’s POV“I’m okay, Alex,” I assured him. “Just a little soreness but other than that, I’m fine.”“Okay,” he replied. “So, no headache or body pain? Are you hungry? Should I get you something to eat?”I smiled, finding the way he was acting funny. This was the first time I was seeing him so riled up, confused and having no idea what to do. It was cute. Before I could respond or before Alex could throw another question at me, there was a knock on the door and then the doctor walked in and
