112: Can't Trade You For Anything

As we walked up to the altar, words could not explain exactly how I felt. I could not believe I agreed to this, accepting Conan as my mate, not to mention marrying him in church.

I just wish there was a way to escape from this, but there is none. If I had rejected the proposal, then I would stand a chance of losing my precious babies to be parented by another lady who I'm certain would despise them, especially Liam, who would stand as a barrier to inheriting the throne from her own kid.

One thing I had vowed not to do was let another lady raise my kids for me, and that was the reason I agreed to this. I do not want to return to the city without them.

"Yvonne and Conan. I'm delighted that you both have decided to wed legally and commit your marriage to the Lord. So I am asking," the priest remarked, turning to Conan.

"Conan, have you decided to enter into marriage without coercion, freely and wholeheartedly?" he demanded.

"Yeah, yes, I do," Conan replied.
