Dimitri’s POVI ran the perimeter of our territory. My wolf Max was fine until we rounded the Westfield pack house, his anxiety over their young pup is overwhelming all my senses, to think that a 16 year old girl is going through something she is not mentally or physically ready for is unnerving. I know it’s none of my business, but I’ve been close to this family for the past 4 years and will be for the rest of my life, since Christov is marked and mated to their eldest daughter. Max slowed and went over to the back of the pack house and into their private garden and lay under the bench swing, curling up and laying his head on his paws, his eyes trained on a window on the top floor. I shook my head, “what are you doing Max, we can’t stay here.”He growled in my head but didn’t speak, he huffed and kept his eyes trained on the window, until the light finally went out. Teresa’s POVI’m more than excited about going out tonight, I’ve never been to a bar or even had a drink of alcohol, so when Dimitri asked this morning, I couldn’t contain my excitement. I am impressed of how much I’ve already gotten control of my power with training with Gabe. But Momma Leah puts me to a whole other level, she’s fierce and doesn’t hold back, like Gabe does and I won’t ever admit to him, but she has given me more skill than he does. I looked around as I walk, after our first official meeting with Gamma’s, Beta’s and our Alpha’s, I was more than surprised to hear that there have been reports of a rogue wolf within our territory, nearly attacking some girls and it’s been going on for a year now. I wanted to ask why no one is aware of it, but then Gabe explained that it wasn’t necessary to have the entire pack worried, when the wolf hasn’t done anything but scare a few. I admit it’s disturbing that they can’t seem to locate how it’s getting into our territory. Momm

Gamma Gabe POVSeeing little Brooklyn all filled out and shapely was something I wasn’t ready for, but when Alpha Abigail explained what happened it was understandable. While at Gamma training, we were taught about how there are different types of wolves, and the shifting is different in some. There is a small pack in Japan that shifts at an early age, their wolves are smaller than ours, but their bloodline is ancient and pure. I guess with the DeLuca bloodline and how special their wolves are, you would think that all the females would have shifted early.
