Raymond’s POV

In the office,

“Alpha, you called me.” My voice was low as I opened the door and entered inside.

“Why did she sense your fragrance? Where is the sachet of herbs I gave you?” he questioned, shooting daggers at me. I gulped down because I knew he would be mad once he found out, but I was ready for it. I wanted her.

“Sorry, Alpha. I forgot to wear it,” I apologized.

“Do you take me as a fool? I told you she had gained her wolf. Her senses would be sharp, so wear it so she couldn’t smell you,” he shouted at me through gritted teeth.

“I’m sorry, Alpha,” I exclaimed.

He looked at me and sighed.

“Raymond,” he spoke, standing on his feet and moving towards the wall-length mirrored window.

“You’re going North Valley today and will be there for the next six months.” He ordered.

“But why Alpha? Why you’re sending me away? You never send me anywhere in the last eight years, why now?”
