It was a beautiful evening as they both stepped out of the Ferrari parked in front of the clubhouse.

She couldn't believe she had accompanied Mr handsome to a clubhouse after so much pleas from him. He seemed new in town and doesn't know his way around.

“So here you are, I beg to take my leave,” she said with humility and turned to leave.

“Stop,” he ordered from where he stood.

“I..I need to be home,” she stammered, trying to avoid those captivating blue eyes.

“I know. But your job is not yet done. You'll come with me as my woman,” he said firmly while giving her the usual killer looks.

“What?!” She cried, looking baffled.

“Yeah, I don't want girls flocking around me. I came here only to have a drink, not for pleasure,” he explained calmly.

She didn't know why she felt better, knowing he wasn't here for girls; and the fact that he asked her to be his woman tonight, made her feel better.

“Are you in or not?” He asked calmly.

“Um..,” she stammered, trying to find her voice.

She hated what he was doing to her. He was rude yet charming, and had his own way of getting what he wants, she thought.

“I.. I've got a big day ahead tomorrow, plus I don't club,” she managed to speak while keeping her head high.

“I'll pay for whatever you need to get done tomorrow, plus, you don't have to drink with me. All you've got to do is sit beside me. Don't worry about home, I'll drop you home,” he continued in the most endearing voice that swept her off her feet.

“Yes.. I'm in,” she answered sharply and pinched herself at how fast her response was. “I've messed up,” she cried within herself as she walked behind him while they both headed into the clubhouse.

She was getting married tomorrow, and she didn't know how she got stuck with a man she knew nothing about. She enjoyed walking alongside him with all the sexy girls glaring at her with enviousness.

He's like the hottest dude in town, all the girls in the club were crazy about him. He hated how they crawled up around him, and she loved how she stood by him, wading them off. She enjoyed the attention so much and she got carried away by the moment.

They reclined at a table, and drinks filled the table in no due time.

“Who's having these?” She asked, irked by the sight of so many alcoholic drinks.

“They aren't yours to take, stick to your water and beverages. That's what suits you,” he said with his usual killer smile as he opened a bottle of whiskey.

“Don't dare me,” she said, grabbing a bottle on the table.

“Don't try to impress me,” he smirked, gazing at her face.

“Try me,” she challenged and took a glass.

She became drunk at the third glass and she stood up immediately and grabbed him by the tie around his neck.

“I need a dance,” she whispered into his face, her breath reeking of alcohol.

Without hesitating, he took her to the dance floor and they both had a crazy and erotic dance.

As the dance grew intense, he stole her away from the dancefloor, into a passage where they both shared a deep passionate kiss.

“I want you tonight,” he said amidst pants as he broke free from the kiss.

Without a word, she wrapped her arms around him again and their lips locked again as he lifted her up from the floor.

*

She felt migraines as she opened her eyes and looked around the dim room. She flinched at the sight of the able-bodied man whose body was lying at the other side of the bed. She quickly recalled her encounter with the man from last night and her heart skipped.

Raising off the duvet from her body, she bit her lips bitterly, seeing she was naked. She swung out of the bed immediately and grabbed her sling purse which was lying on the floor. Looking at the time on her phone, it was 3:30.am already.

“Fuck!!” She cried, realizing her wedding was just a few hours away.

How dare she have a fling with a strange man on the day before her wedding? She thought as she dressed up as calm as possible to avoid waking him up.

As she tiptoed to the door, she took a final glance at him as he slept gracefully on the bed.

“ I hope we don't meet anymore,” she said to herself and sneaked out of the room.

It was dawn before he woke up and he couldn't believe she was gone.

“How dare she?” He fumed, searching from the bathroom to the closet.

Last night was pleasurable and he couldn't have enough of her. He knew she was at her drunken state but there was something amazing about her.

He sat on the bed devastated and hoping she would appear anytime soon. His phone rang and he looked at the caller ID and sighed.

“Where are you, Ryan? We're about to leave for Ryker's wedding,” a calm female voice sounded from the phone.

“The Clyde's family are having a flash marriage now?” He scoffed, scratching his stubble beard.

“Get your ass here. We're having a family photo and you don't want to miss it like you've missed the rest of it,” she said.

“I won't,” he assured and hung up.

He thought about the girl from last night and sighed.

“I'll find you, no matter how long it takes,” he said confidently as he picked up his jacket from the bed.

The limousine arrived in front of the registry hall and men in black suits opened the door for the bride to step out.

Samantha stepped out in full glamor, accompanied by her chief's bridesmaid who arranged her train on the floor as she walked towards her groom, Ryker, who was handsomely donned in a white three piece suit, with his dark long hair styled in a low bun. He had his sunglasses on and his eyes never left her as she walked towards him slowly.

She lowered her gaze to the floor as she saw members of the Clyde's family standing behind Ryker, gossiping in low whispers.

Mrs Clyde came forward, elegantly dressed in a short black fitted dress and black heels.

“Thanks for coming my dear,” she said with a smile on her red full lips as she looked into Samantha's eyes.

Samantha nodded wryly and returned her gaze to the floor.

“We can now proceed,” Mrs Clyde said, turning to Ryker whose handsomely built face was as hard as a stone.

Samantha heaved a sigh as he took hold of her hand. They were about to step into the building when a familiar voice interrupted them, “Sorry, I'm late,”.

They all turned to see Ryan, second son of the Clyde's family, adjusting the button of his black suit as he walked regally into the gathering.

Samantha's eyes bulged, and her bouquet fell off her hands as he took off his sunglassess and she recognized him as the man from last night.

“Sir, we're not here to take the boy away from you. We came not with an intent to find the boy, but now that we've found him, we'll like to get a clarification,” Samantha explained to him.The old man looked at his wife begrudgingly. “He's Ryan's son, his name is Raymond,” Mrs Wang revealed. “Oh, no…my baby didn't die..he didn't die!” Ryan broke into hot tears. “He didn't die along with the mother. My wife and I promised to keep him safe from his father. He's the only thing that has kept us going after we lost Sally,” Mr Wang related painfully. “I understand perfectly, but you didn't have to lie to me,” Ryan cried. “If I were in their shoes, I would have lied too,” Samantha chuckled. “You're not taking the boy away from us,” Mrs Wang said to him. He wiped off his tears and looked at Samantha. They both spoke in whispers for a minute. “Um, we're not taking the boy away from you. But we'd like to plead with you to let him spend some time with his father so they could bond. This

“They both froze at the sight of the little fair skin boy who seemed to be an older version of Ryette. “Argh!” Samantha gasped, her eyes widened in disbelief. “Raymond, don't you dare open the door without my permission!” The voice of the older lady followed suit. A middle aged Asian woman appeared on the door, dressed simply in a white expensive silk dress. “Grandma, Grandma, look, I think I've found my daddy!” The little boy cried in ecstasy as he held onto his grandma's dress. There was a moment of tension as the Asian woman looked at the bewildered, broken Ryan and Samantha standing in front of her door. “Ryan Clyde, we meet again!” She snapped, her grey eyes piercing through Ryan like a knife. “Ma'am.. ma'am..I..,” he stuttered, looking away from the boy to his grandma. The woman grabbed hold of the boy, trying to pull him back inside. Ryan surged towards her, holding her arm which was tightly wrapped around the boy. “Get lost!!” The woman barked in his face. “Madam,

Thinking about Samantha's words, he walked back into the party hall and he could see Sophia dancing and having fun with the ladies. He excused her from the dance floor and she reluctantly followed him out of the building. Taking a sip from her glass of whiskey, she gasped with relief as she stood in front of him. “You've had enough, I think,” he said, taking the glass away from her. “I'm not drunk, I know my limits,” she argued, trying to grab the glass from him. “No, I won't let you,” he argued as they both struggled with the glass. “Give it back,” she cried, aiming higher. She finally got hold of the glass with his palm still held onto it tightly. They both wrapped their palms around the glass, with their bodies so close to each other. His arm wrapped slowly around her waist, pulling her closer than ever before. Their heads inched closer, followed by a swift lingering kiss that held them in a world of their own. Her eyes opened wide as she snapped back to reality and she pu

“Ryker is being held in a psychiatrist's home at the moment. He lost his sanity the moment he was arrested,” Claris related. Ryan gulped and heaved a sigh. “I guess it was due to Sasha's betrayal. I heard he's been screaming for Sasha all day,” Sophia added. All eyes turned to Sasha whose gaze lowered to the floor slowly. “And Sarah, she is yet to be found,” Mariah explained. “How did it happen? How did she escape amidst the heavy security presence?!” Ryan slammed. “Ryan, slow down,” Samantha urged, caressing his arms. “She escaped through a secret passageway located in the mansion,” Ken informed. “There was a secret passageway we didn't know of?” Ryan asked with a scoff. “Yes, it seems she created it recently in a bid to exit the country secretly. She saw this coming, she knew there were people coming for her,” Sophia explained. There was complete silence. “Our lives are still in danger with Sara being out there,” Ryan said thoughtfully. “Yes, and there is no need to pani

“Doc!! Doc!!” She panicked, rushing closer to his bed. In an instant, Sasha and a male doctor were seen running into the ward with some nurses behind them. “I saw him move, I saw him move!!” Samantha exclaimed. “Oh, my God!!” Sasha exclaimed, running closer to Samantha. The doctor sprung into action immediately and Sasha grabbed hold of Samantha, pulling her away from distracting the doctor. She watched in anticipation with tears dripping down her cheeks, hoping and praying so hard for Ryan to wake up. “He's responding,” the Doctor said with a smile, turning to look at her. “Oh, Ryan,” Samantha cried in Sasha's arms. Just then, his eyelids fluttered and his eyes opened up slowly. “Ryan?!!” Samantha gasped, escaping from Sasha's arms. She knelt beside the bed and grabbed hold of his hands. The doctor didn’t interfere as he continued with his job. “Ryan, Ryan,” she called, wiping the tears away from her eyes.He turned slowly in her direction and she broke into tears of joy.

Her footsteps were heard in the dim room as she walked in dejectedly. She slumped on the armchair and took off her brunette wig tiredly. Her palm caressed her face as she heaved a sigh of frustration, her hazel eyes staring at nothing. How did this happen? How did she not see this coming? She thought. The door opened and Mariah walked into the room. “The nurse is here,” she said to Samantha. “I don't want no treatment, Mariah,” Samantha sighed heavily, her palm rubbing her forehead in anguish. “You can't look after Ryan in this manner. You need to be strong, Samantha. You've got a boy who's waiting to welcome you in his arms,” she said with a bitter smile on her lips. “Mariah, you don't get it,” Samantha said with a scoff, shaking her head. “I know how you feel, Samantha. You've been through worse, you've lost people…,” she tried to speak. “You don't know how I feel, Mariah!!” Samantha blasted, her eyes burning red with fury. Mariah went mute, seeing the rage in he
