“Quincy, let me call you back later, okay? Today is my wedding day and I’m so busy.” She says and though I am shocked that today is her wedding day, I respond casually.
“Sure, I will be waiting for your call. And oh, congratulations!” I say but she doesn’t reply.
She just simply ends the call.

It’s the next day and I have showered and I have gotten ready to leave the hospital. All the necessary paperworks are signed and I have collected all my medications.
I have a few warnings from my doctor, but they all total to me being more careful and healthy.
I’m now sitting downstairs, still in the hospital, waiting for my father to pick me up.
