Until They Found Each Other.

Chapter: 4.

******

Thunder and Lightning blended into one in Obenis's rage. One of the Six powerful Celestial Gods. Obenis the god of the Middle Heavens known as Cerulean. His now enemy Yidis, the god of the Underworld, known as Shivvara. Both Gods once were friends but as they found their eternal brides, and began to have children, a rift began to rise among their wives and children and slowly it got passed onto their friendship. When Amiatta, the wife of Obenis, poisoned the first son of Yidis, Siurdem whom she also had an affair with and to conceal her sin, she poisoned him. When Obenis learned of this, his anger was so great he turned Amiatta into a Star, but Yidis was displeased with his choice of punishment for her grievous sin committed against his son, and he confronted Obenis for it.

"You were partial with your punishment to your Wife, Obenis," Yidis roared before the god who once was his bosom friend.

A line split between the god's forehead as he watched his friend condemn his choice of punishment against his wife. "She is no longer considered my wife, neither is she a goddess but a common star whose only duty from here on is to serve her brilliance upon the Earth. Is this not enough justice for the death of your son?" His voice broke multiple times between speeches, which was out of character for the great god.

Obenis was heartbroken.

His wife may have wronged him, betrayed his love, and slept with the son of his best friend but above all, it was Yidis’ anger toward him that hurt him the greatest. They were once inseparable. The God Obenis and his Loyal Companion Yidis. It was through their friendship that the First Order was restored among the Six Heavens. Both the Underworld and the Middle Heaven shared the greatest union. The Heavenly Realms envied their friendship. For where one is, so shall the other be. But all that came to an end upon Amiatta's betrayal, even worse, she murdered Siurdem, Yidis’ only beloved son.

Then to conceal her sin, she turned him into a River and sent him down to the Earth. Yidis wept upon learning he could not give his son a final resting place. The son of a god, and now a common River condemned to serve the mortals for all eternity.

Obenis wished to punish Amiatta more than the punishment he bestowed upon her, but he could not bring himself to do so on his wife.

But at what price?

"Death would have been more desiring for such a mighty crime so she can stand before the Second Heaven for judgment… For as a star, she can not cross the bridge of Plains and therefore shall not attain judgment and rejection into the Third Heaven, which would have been the price she pays for her sin… You did not Punish her, Obenis… You spared her!"

"I did it for you-"

"You did it for yourself, Obenis!"

Yidis was right. He did it for himself. He could not condemn his wife to such damnation. Should he have given her death, her soul would wither away from the Heavens, she shall neither reincarnate nor attain her glories, and knowing this, Obenis turned her into a Star instead. He indeed spared her, even though she may not be deserving of such mercy.

"Your son indulged himself with my wife…" Thunder rose at the sound of Obenis's voice. His anger intensified. "He laid with the wife of a god! The son of my best friend! He indulged in her sin… he allowed himself to be swept away by her tender breasts… he slept with that which wasn't rightfully his, and hid it away from you… from ME! Is it unjust what he had done? Did he not wrath me, my dear Yidis? Did he not betray your friendship with me?"

"Who could resist a Goddess, Obenis… one as graciously endowed as your wife Amiatta should she come upon them, who I ask… who?!" Dark clouds began to rise from behind the god Yidis in his rising rage. "He was fooled by her."

"Even so, Yidis, should he not have resisted her? If he were so innocent, would he not have come to you immediately upon committing such sin? And did he?"

"I considered you my vow, Obenis, but you have broken me, and nothing can mend this split you have wrath upon my spirits."

"Yidis-"

"Upon these Grounds, I curse your wife Amiatta, for taking away my son, I shall seek her fate in the like manner, and I rend myself from thee, Obenis, for you shall neither be considered even as once a friend of Yidis nor shall you have a place in my heart henceforth!"

Yidis left the presence of Obenis with a vow never to set eyes on him again. A thousand years later, Yidis found the Star which was Amiatta, and melted her into a vast piece of land, then sent her forth to the Earth to be used by mortals for all eternity, just as she had done to his son. And beside this land, the River which was Siurdem flowed.

When Obenis learned of this act, the first war between the gods broke out, and Obenis won, sending Yidis and his angels farther into the Underworld. A celestial meeting was summoned and all the Gods presented themselves before the Third Heavens, and the first Division was established between the Ceruleanians and the Shivvarians.

Yidis and his angels after the Division was cast, often found means to cross the Division and enter into the Lands within Cerulean walls, only to cause trouble and bed their weak. These had gone on for far too long and all in an attempt to irk Obenis further. Like a child chasing useless chaos instead of admitting to their wrongdoings, Yidis indulged himself in a quest to provoke and push the limits of his once bosom friend. And each time, Obenis allowed him his childish antics and indulged Yidis with his mindlessness pretending not to be bothered by his actions and the sins of his angels, for he still blamed himself for how he had unjustly handled Amiatta's judgment. But, above all, he missed Yidis more.

Their friendship was considered Divine even by the Third Heavens, and how greatly they have failed in their friendship.

What fools they were.

What fools.

And until Obenis's mindlessness began to spread across Cerulean, as gossip of the god's weakness toward Yidis. Rumors of his incompetence and inability to defeat Yidis rose and when Obenis could no longer bear it, and realizing that Yidis and his angels weren't ready to back down, Obenis took the last step.

He went before the Third Heaven and demanded a meeting to which he begged for permission to put Yidis in his place and to end their union once and for all. This would come at an even greater price, and although Obenis would reluctantly agree, his heart would ache for all eternity.

"You wish to repel him from the Heavens and Damn him and his angels into the Underworlds as permanent Dwellers?" One of the Celestials inquired, and Obenis after much consideration nodded and voiced his reply.

"Yes, My Lords!"

"Then so shall it be, from this day forth, the Shivvarians shall be known as the Dark-winged, their transformation from the pure Heavenly bodied they possess shall be ripped from them, and they shall take upon a more Darker form, and this shall come into existence with your final judgment upon Yidis, Obenis… So think carefully before you speak your judgment upon your friend, for a word Passed shall never be Taken Back… Now Go!"

Once Obenis got the permission granted from the Third Heavens, he let out his wrath upon the Shivvarians for the second time, only this time great measures would ensue to make sure such an act is never brought upon his Lands.

Obenis let his anger rage like the tempestuous storm winds, roaring like thunder crashing down upon Shivvara and its inhabitants. He was wrath beyond words, and his anger prevailed for thousands of years. It was a time not easily forgotten.

And after the War was over. Obenis created Three Laws to govern all Ceruleanians and to keep the Shivvarians farther away. And the greatest of the Laws- 'There Shall Be No Union Between A Ceruleanian And A Shivvarian’ And should any be found breaking one of these Laws, to the Shivvarian, they would be sent into the Gallow, in the hands of the Whipping Soldiers, they shall suffer, stripped of their spiritual powers, and imprisoned for two thousand years. And to a Ceruleanian who breaks one of these Laws and is found in Shivvara, they shall be sent into Empyrean Fields where they shall suffer enslavement by the hands of the shapeless demons for two thousand years.

And another bridge was formed, separating both Worlds and sealing them with the new Laws.

Thousands of years passed and the Laws guarded Both worlds and all abided by these Laws. And since neither the Shivvarian nor the Ceruleanians could break the Great Celestial Seals protecting the Bridges, neither could cross nor enter.

Until they found each other.

A Ceruleanian and his Shivvarian friend.
