Azazel’s P.O.V.

After I had dropped off Synestra at her mother’s house I realized I was hungry again. I guess all that fighting really works up an appetite. It was pretty late so there were no restaurants open. I went back to the palace and made my way to the kitchen. Lucifer kept a full staff in the kitchen at all times. I think that started around the time Damien and I had hit our teenage years. At the time we were both always hungry and freshly cooked food was always better than conjured food. 

As I entered the kitchen I noticed the place was quiet. The servants that worked in the kitchen were mostly lower level demons. They were the ones most people think of when they hear the word demon.
