SASHA’S POV

“You know that you have just angered them more right?” I asked the minute the car door closed behind us.

The black windows shielding us from the world. I could be free. The smiles had dropped, the distance created.

Noah Beck’s eyes barely glanced in my direction. The cameras were gone, I no longer existed in his sight.

“That was what I was aiming for,” he said, typing away on his phone.

“The office, what is so important about it? I have seen it, it is nothing but a building hanging on a thin thread,” I asked, looking at him with a tiny frown on my face. I needed to understand why he was particular about it.

“That old building will be renovated to something better. If you want, it can become your office,” he said offhandedly.

“Sasha, the building wasn’t what I wanted. my father’s office wasn’t that. I needed to be sure that when his office is reveled that they wont try to come for it,” he said, cutting me off.
