When Erica woke up the next morning, she was surprised to find herself in an unfamiliar room.
"Where the hell am I?" She panicked as she sat up.
She looked around the room, which seemed to look like a hotel room, and her eyes widen in shock as the realization hits her hard.
"Oh my God!" She exclaimed in shock as she pulled the duvet away a bit to stare at her naked body, then she once again gasped in shock. It's obvious what had happened, but she just couldn't remember who the hell she slept with last night!
She was about to get off the bed when she noticed a small yellow piece of paper lying on the other pillow. She slowly took it and read it; it's a note from the stranger she slept with, saying he hopes she'll find love and wishes the same for himself.
After reading the note, she didn't even know how to feel or what to feel. She was angry at herself for doing something so reckless, but on a second thought, she didn't think she regretted her actions last night.
A loud groan escaped her lips as she got off the bed. She wouldn't even want to think about anything right now because of the terrible headache she's having at the moment, and it's the result of drinking too much.
She managed to wear her clothes while at the same time resisting the urge to just stay right here and continue sleeping to get rid of her headache, but she figured she could just get medicine for her hangover. When she was done, she hurriedly left the hotel room.
She managed to find her way back to her dorm, and when she arrived, she met Lisa getting ready for class.
Lisa, who's been worried about her, left what she was doing to meet her.
"Hey, I was worried about you; what happened? You didn't come home last night, and" She trailed as she moved closer to Erica and sniffed her. "Have you been drinking?" She asked in surprise, then noticed the look of pain and sadness in Erica's eyes, but before she had the chance to ask any more questions, Erica went into the bathroom, not saying a single word to her.
Lisa went after her. "Erica, are you okay? Is everything alright?" She asked, gently knocking on the door, but then she got no reply from Erica.
She would have loved to wait until she came out so she could have a talk with her, but she was already running late for class.
"I guess I'll see you at school then." She sighed, went to grab her bag, and took one last look at the bathroom before leaving.
Erica thought a lot about what she should do today. There were two options for her: one, she could just stay in bed all day and cry her eyes out while wallowing in her pain and sorrow; the other, she could just put up a tough face, not let what has happened ruin her, and go to school. She knew if she were to go to school today, she's likely to run into Mark, and she didn't think she wanted to see him after what he did to her, but still, she picked number two. Mark is a jerk, and she's not going to let that jerk ruin her life for her. She came here to study, and that's what she's going to do.
While taking her bath, what happened between her and the strange man flashed through her mind once more. She couldn't remember his face though; she was still finding it hard to believe that she would do such a thing, but she didn't want to think about it too much, so she forced herself to forget it. There's no use crying over spilled milk; what has happened has happened, and she shouldn't feel bad or guilty about it.
"Yes, Erica, just act normal, focus on your studies, and be strong!" She tried motivating herself with some positive words, and it kind of helped a bit.
She hurriedly got ready and left for school.
When Erica got to school, she checked her wrist watch and saw that she's so late for her first lecture. Using the school guide map, she was able to locate her class. She stood outside the class for some time as she prepared herself for what's to come. It's her first day in college, and she literally can't believe she's going to get scolded for being late to class.
After calming down a bit, she quietly opened the door and went inside. Her joy knew no bounds when she saw that the professor wasn't facing her; he was writing something on the board, so his back was turned to her.
Erica's luck seemed to run out right there when she tried sneaking in to go get a seat. The professor then turned around, and what surprised her the most was when their eyes met, his jaw dropped and his eyes widen in shock, and the marker he was holding dropped from his hand. At that moment, time seemed to have stopped as they did nothing but stare at each other.
At first, she only held his gaze because of his reaction when he saw her, but then things changed because she couldn't believe that her professor would be this hot! His ocean blue eyes were so mesmerizing that she got lost staring at him; she didn't know how, but she managed to snap out of her fantasy.
"Sorry for coming in late, professor." She apologized before rushing to go get a seat.
Meanwhile, her professor was too stunned to speak; his eyes trailed her until she got to her seat, which was somewhere in the front row.
The professor shook his head and awkwardly cleared his throat before going back to what he was doing.
During the lecture, Erica couldn't stop staring at her professor; she didn't know why, but she kind of felt a strange feeling of familiarity as she stared at him, but that wasn't supposed to happen as she doesn't even know him; she didn't even think she's seen him before until now, but still, the feeling refused to go away. She also couldn't help but notice that he would look at her anywhere else, anywhere but where she was, and that only added to her curiosity, leaving her with one question.
Have they met before?
Sebastian didn't know how he managed to pull through the whole lecture, but luckily for him, he didn't fumble while teaching. When Erica walked in, he immediately recognized her to be the girl he had slept with last night. The shock he felt when he saw her was unexplainable; he literally couldn't believe his eyes, and he kept on cursing himself for having a one-night stand with his own student! But then again, how on earth would he have known that the girl he slept with last night was actually his student? He couldn't tell if she recognized him or not, and that's why he tried his best to avoid meeting her gaze while he was teaching; even if she did, she was doing a great job at hiding it.If words get out about what happened between them, then his career as a teacher is over for good; he literally just got this job and wouldn't want to lose it. He then made up his mind to try and talk to her after the class.Meanwhile, when the lecture ended, Erica hurriedly stood up and left the hall
Chapter 5: Awkward Moments."What did you just say Erica!?" Lisa asked in shock.Erica bit her bottom lip nervously. "I think...I mean....the man I slept with last night is actually my professor.""What!!" Lisa unknowingly yelled, attracting the attention of other students."Shh..." Erica instantly covered Lisa's mouth with her palm. "Keep it down Lisa." She whispered, she looked around and saw that the other students were staring at them, she then smiled nervously. "They're staring at us now." She said with gritted teeth."I'm going to take my hand away now, please don't shout, promise?" She asked, Lisa nodded in reply.Erica slowly took her hand off Lisa's mouth."What!?" Lisa whispered, her eyes wide in shock, she then drew her chair closer to Erica. "What did you just say!? You slept with your professor!!""I...I didn't know, I didn't even remember anything until this moment and how would I have known that he's my professor? I was drunk and I made a stupid mistake!" Erica groaned
Sebastian led the way through the lively school courtyard, his steps deliberate as he glanced back to ensure Erica was behind him."What a mistake, but the deed is done. I have to face it," Sebastian thought, his face looking unperturbed.Erica, wearing a perplexed expression, fell into step behind him. "Well, I knew this would eventually happen, but am I really prepared for it now? I'm not even sure what he wants to tell me."Sebastian continued walking, seeking a quieter spot for their conversation. "It's a bit unexpected, but as you can see, I'm a professor here. We need to talk about what happened to avoid unnecessary complications," he muttered to her as he noticed she was closer.Erica, right behind him, couldn't help but think, "Yes, the fact that you're a professor makes it even more complicated. I'm not sure what this will lead to."They found a secluded corner around the school building, and Sebastian began to explain, choosing his words carefully, "What happened between us
Erica got back to her dorm, dramatically dropping her bag onto her bed and slumping down. Lisa, her roommate, glanced up from her textbook, giving Erica a look that said, "spill the tea or I'll spill it for you.""Okay, Erica, spill it. What's with the drama face? Trouble in the world of academia?" Lisa quipped, raising an eyebrow. She hesitated initially because she anticipated that the advice her roommate was about to offer might not be to her liking.Erica sighed, "Oh, just the usual love affair with Shakespeare and a side dish of complicated emotions."Lisa smirked, "Ah, the classic student-professor romance. How cliche. What's the scoop?"Rolling her eyes, Erica confessed, "Well, Professor Sebastian and I had this talk after class. You know, the 'let's keep it professional' talk."Lisa burst into laughter, "Oh, you're in one of those 'forbidden love' stories, huh? Very Shakespearean, indeed."Erica gave her a look, "Come on, this is serious, Lisa! He said we should act like nothi
However, as the night wore on and she succumbed to sleep, a dream unfolded in her subconscious. In the realm of dreams, Professor Sebastian appeared, pulling her into an embrace that felt all too real. Their bodies melded seamlessly, and the dream unfolded like a lively painting, portraying a detailed scene of shared intimacy. Each touch and kiss sparked sensations that sent delightful shivers coursing through her being."This feels so good," she whispered with a smile, tilting towards him.She nibbled on her lip, observing as he lifted her blouse. His hands slid beneath the smooth fabric, gently embracing her breasts through the bra. She reached behind, unhooking it, releasing her supple curves. He smoothly removed her blouse and bra, his skillful hands tending to her tender breasts and erect nipples. He caressed her bare chest and abdomen leisurely, igniting a warmth that gradually descended to the moisture forming between her thighs. She panted, hugging his neck and parted her le
The night seemed to drag on for Erica, and she hoped it would come to an end swiftly. However, as the night faded away and dawn approached, Erica found herself preparing for the upcoming class. Her mind was in disarray, haunted by the embarrassing dream involving Sebastian. The anticipation of facing him added an extra layer of unease. In the quiet of her room, Erica muttered to herself, "Come on, Erica, get it together. Just a normal class, nothing more." Yet, doubts lingered as she wondered how she would manage to compose herself. "Maybe I can avoid eye contact," she thought, trying to strategize. As she gathered her books, another thought crossed her mind, "What if he can tell? What if he somehow knows about the dream?" The unease grew, and she shook her head, attempting to shake off the anxious thoughts."Come on, Erica, focus. He could never have known about the dream. Just focus on the class," she reassured herself, hoping to find a way to navigate the upcoming situation wi
As Erica glanced at her phone, the caller ID caught her attention, revealing the name "Mark," her ex-boyfriend. An immediate wave of disgust crossed her face, and without a moment's hesitation, she decisively ended the call, placing the phone aside with a firm motion."No way am I dealing with that liar again, never!" She thought, a clear sense of frustration echoing in her mind. The idea of any communication with her deceitful ex-boyfriend held no appeal for Erica.Later in the day, Lisa entered the dorm room after her class, finding Erica in a state of repeated sighs. Lisa, intrigued by Erica's evident trouble, couldn't resist asking, "What's going on, Erica? Why all the heavy sighs? Something bothering you?"Erica hesitated to confide in Lisa once more about her deepening feelings for Sebastian. She was well aware of what her roommate and friend would say, and it wasn't something she was eager to hear.Lisa persisted with her prodding. "Come on, Erica, you've been sighing all day.
In Sebastian's office, a sudden knock on the door disrupted the usual aura."Who's there? Come in." But it seemed the person behind the door didn't hear him as the door remained shut for a few moments. So he decided to get the door.To his surprise, when he opened it, there stood Sarah, his ex-wife. The air in the room shifted, tension replacing the ordinary atmosphere.Sebastian's heart skipped a beat as he saw Sarah standing at his door. Memories of their failed marriage flooded his mind, and he struggled to keep his composure.Sarah looked nervous, her eyes darting around before finally settling on Sebastian's face. "Can we talk?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.Sebastian hesitated for a moment before nodding and stepping aside to let her in.They sat down across from each other, both unsure of where to begin."What are you doing here, Sarah? This is unexpected." Sebastian broke the silence. As she settled into the comfortable seat, Sarah hesitated, her eyes avoiding h
