The jolt ripped through her. Not a dream, not a nightmare, but a sharp, insistent thump against the floor, followed by the clatter of something falling downstairs. Claudine’s eyes snapped open.

The room was still dark, the digital clock glowing 4:02 AM. Too early for breakfast, definitely too late for a peaceful night.

A low sound vibrated in the air, a different kind of buzz than the usual house sounds, filled with an anxious energy that made her scalp tingle.

Before she could even swing her legs out of bed, her door burst open.

It was Artemis, her face pale, eyes wide with frantic urgency. “Ma’am! You need to get up! Something’s happened!” Her voice was tight with suppressed panic.

Back at the mansion, later that night, Claudine sat cozily on Hades’s lap on the balcony. The city lights twinkled below, a vast, sprawling dancing of light. The cool night air was a welcome irony to the heat of the day’s events. She was contemplating her discussions with Freida from that morning. She was supposed to deliver information about Hades, and she knew he was about to traffic cars and trucks out of the city in a few weeks, cars and trucks that had ammunitions hidden in them. Not to talk of his countless money laundering accounts. Grandpa Lucky nodded slowly. “As you both know, this business of ours has been years in the making. Now that the governor of Detroit has been changed, it’s time to fully implement. The Vancouver Global Holding is opening its new sports center in Detroit. A big NGO, supporting people in a city that needs help. It’s a front, of course. For what we’ve been planning. For so long. The Vancouver’s want to start printing money. Currencies. Selling to the foreign market. A new kind of gold rush.”“I didn’t expect you to bring this up tonight, pops,” Hades said calmly, even though his eyes flicked toward the hallway. Cassie might still be within earshot.“I wanted to make sure both of you have a clear head on this,” Grandpa Lucky replied with a hint of fatigue. He turned to Gregory with disgust. “And you, Gregory… do away with that thing you call a girlfriend. She’s bad luck. The disrespect she just showed—honestly, I’m not surprised. You gave her too much space. She doesn’t even know the kind

It was evening.Rather than going straight home after his business in Detroit, Hades had to honor his grandfather. So, he found himself at a hotel in New York, seated at a dinner table with his unfortunate brother. Charon stood silently by the door, his hair now a mix of light and dark brown making him feel like some sort of comic villain with a solid presence and unspoken tension to unravel. This was not a friendly gathering. This was a family meeting. And family, in their world, was often the most dangerous kind of enemy. The door opened, and Gregory walked in with a woman. He had a self-satisfied smirk on his handsome face.He was a devil in a tailored suit, his charm barely concealing the cold cunning in his eyes. The woman was stunning, with sharp features and an unnerving calm. From the very brief introduction, Her name was Cassie. She was Russian, and though she looked incredibly young, almost like a girl, Cassie was actually over ten years older than Gregory. She moved with a

Hades was behind her, his large hands gripping her hips, driving into her with every madness in his bones. Her body arched, her head thrown back, his lips trailing fire across her neck and shoulders. Her moans were raw, desperate sounds she barely recognized. “Faster,” she gasped, fingers digging into the tile.“Oh, God, Hades... Please.”He groaned, a deep sound. “You like that, you like when I fuck you hard baby?” he rasped, his movements quickening. “Want more? Tell me.” His mouth took hers in a deep, hard kiss. She clawed at his back. Her hips met his every thrust, the pleasure overwhelming. Her cries were muffled by his mouth, by the water, by his fierce moans.“yessss yesss so good” her eyes rolled to the back of her head as she held on to him tight, it didnt even take seconds and they were both cumming again, there was only sensation, a thrilling loss of control. He climaxed with a final, hard thrust, burying his f

Later that evening, the dining hall of Hades New York estate theilled with a different kind of tension. Hades and Claudine were at dinner, but the atmosphere shifted dramatically with the arrival of Ford, the Irish Don.He was a powerfully built man with keen, intelligent eyes, a deceptive charm, and a suit as sharp as Hades’s own.“Hades,” Ford greeted, his voice a smooth, cultured brogue, extending a hand to Hades. “Good to see you, my friend. It’s been too long since that marvellous car exhibition in Monaco. Still got that violet Mustang, I trust? Only three produced in the world, if memory serves.”“Yes yes! Good to see you again Mr Irish potato” Hades chuckled back, acknowledging their inside joke memories.“This is a new year Mr Vancouver. I thought we’ve gone past that.” Ford waved his hands as he smiled, before continuing “And who’s this pretty damsel with you?”Of course Ford knew who Claudine was, but an introduction was still necessary.Hades’s public persona snapped into p
