Melissa's POV

Antonio had texted me that he'd pick Tonia up and that I didn't need to bother about that.

I've seen the way he played and cared about her. Indeed, blood is thicker than water.

I agreed.

"Your siblings are asking of you. They'd be coming back in one month time with their families for a reunion." My father announced on the phone, he sounded happy.

I didn't know if I was happy to see my siblings. I had an elder brother and an elder sister. They both didn't give two shits about me when I was going through crisis. They chose my parents side over mine.

"Yeah." I said.

"I know you're still mad at them, my dear daughter but you have to understand that they were just -"

"Doing what you and mother instructed them to do. They chose you two over their kid sister they were supposed to intercede and cater for. I hear you, Father. I hear you." I answered, my voice lacked emotions.

He sighed heavily. "Sorry for bringing this up."
