Xian Han lifted the corners of her lips, blinked at Stacey Grantham, and said, "Miss Su was just praising how attentive my husband is. If he were really that attentive, how could Miss Su have fallen ill? It seems like the more one lacks, the more they tend to show off, doesn't it?"

Stacey Grantham hadn't expected Xian Han to be so unyielding, even disregarding Leonard Babbitt's face.

Xian Han gave a nonchalant "Oh" and replied straightforwardly, "If Miss Su feels uncomfortable and wants to leave, then by all means, take your time. No need to see you off."

Leonard Babbitt spoke coldly, giving her a warning look. "Don't go too far."

Ignoring Leonard Babbitt's stern, darkened face, she picked up her bag and prepared to leave.

Unexpectedly, Leonard Babbitt followed her out, grabbing her arm.

Xian Han glanced at him, her tone dripping with sarcasm. "Mr. Babbitt, what are you doing? Aren't you afraid your first love will get jealous?"

Leonard Babbitt narrowed his eyes. Standing a head taller than her, he exuded a natural aura of authority.

"What are you angry about? Is it because Ran provoked you, or...?"

His deep, cold eyes flickered, probing. "Are you jealous?"

Xian Han laughed as if hearing the funniest joke in the world. She looked up and retorted, "Mr. Babbitt, I know my place."

"This is just a sham marriage. I never considered myself Mrs. Gu."

She tried to break free from his grip but failed, frowning in frustration. "Let go of me!"

But Leonard Babbitt pulled her towards the car, instructing the driver, "To the hospital."

Xian Han's eyes widened in annoyance. "Leonard Babbitt, are you crazy? What hospital?"

"If you have the time, why don't you sign the divorce papers sooner? The money was borrowed by Horace Augustine, not me. If you want the money, go to him. Whether you want to kill me, cut off my fingers, or chop off my arms, it's up to you. Just don't pin it on me."

Leonard Babbitt remained unmoved, like a statue, and glared at the driver. "What are you waiting for?"
