I walked quietly. I distracted myself by thinking about things. The road is not dark because the moon serves as light on my way. I counted how many trees, how many cars passed by. I tried to fight the feeling that I was going to lose my mind.I stopped several times, and several times I also heard his steps stop. I didn't say anything to him until I got home. I closed the door heavily and finally saw his eyes looking at me seriously."It's up to him. If he freeze to death, it's not my fault." I said to myself.I lit the fireplace. I warmed up with hot chocolate and that was all I had in my stomach. After that I decided to rest and lay on the bed but the rose that was on the bed caught my attention. It has not yet withered. Its petals are still blooming and it looks like it was freshly picked. I can't help but think about Pluto. I can't help but wonder if what my life could have been is he's still here. He will definitely not let me be sad. He won't let me cry. He won't leave me alone.
I know that even though I'm skeptical about his antics. Still, I had to thank him."Thank you for that," I uttered.I was sitting on the bed while he was leaning against the window, looking out at the round, bright moon."For this, and for what happened earlier."I was referring to the rose I was holding and what happened earlier. He didn't reply and just looked at me intently as he always does. I really couldn't help but be amazed at how his eyes could speak. Anyone can be carried away by his gaze."Who are those people?" he asked.I sighed and looked at the flower."Bad guys," I briefly said.I don't want to explain anymore because I think I will just waste time."And do they bother you often like that?"I sensed a hint of seriousness in his tone. I glanced at him, he didn't even flinch at my stare. I shook my head lightly as an answer."It seems they have something else in mind for you," he whispered as if he said it only to himself.I smirked without humor. "Don't worry. I can pro
Werewolf — I typed at the search bar."Fajra, you're still not done with that?" My co-worker asked me.I smiled raw and shook my head. I only used the existing computer here in our manager's office. I spent almost my entire lunch break researching the questions I needed answers to.Are werewolves real? What do werewolves do? Where did they come from? The things I read are foreign to me and I can’t seem to understand the results of my reading. Even though I understand it, it still does not meet my level of understanding.Werewolves aren't real. That's one of the hundred results that says the same. I nodded while agreeing with what was read."Right, who the hell in the world would believe that?" I whispered to myself. This issue only became a trend because of the movies that were released and mixed with some other catch for people to watch and believe. Some results are saying that werewolves came from the stories of people acting a bit different than usual, different in a way of bein
"Fajra," I heard him call me with a tone of defiance.I was too focused choosing clothes from the rack and putting them in front of him. I chose a simple shirt on him slightly tilting my head looking if it fits him.”This one's cool. White shirt fits you.” I said and removed the shirt from the hanger but he grabbed my wrist to stop me."Stop," he said.I sighed heavily and pouted. He has been stopping me from shopping for clothes for him. I was able to buy him pants first, so now I'm choosing his top. "At least buy that." I slapped the shirt on his chest so he couldn't do anything but hold it.He followed me to the counter. I quickly took out money and signaled the woman not to put the clothes in the paper bag."Don't look at me like that. I'm telling you, you have to change clothes. You attract so many people with that outfit. Halloween is still far ahead.” I rolled my eyes. His lips were in a grim line. "I don't care what other people say."I sighed harshly. “Just change. I'll wait
I was dumbfounded while looking at the scenario when we got home. From a distance, I can see how they take our stuff out of our house. I dropped the plastic bag I’m holding, which contained the stuff that we bought, and quickly ran."W-what is this?"I stammered a question to the man standing there. He didn't answer me and focused only on the paper in his hand. I turned to see another man coming out our door with the rest of our stuff."H-hey!" I screamed. "What are you doing?"I was confused and walking back and forth. Hades even passed through my eyes with the plastic I'd left earlier. He also seems to have no idea what is going on."Please don't do this." I pleaded with the man I first talked to.He looked at me without emotion and handed me the paper. I had no idea what was written on it."You need to go to the bank to settle this."My tears flowed, and I didn't know what to do. They didn't seem to listen to my plea."No, please. I have money."The bundle of money was scattered bec
Hades liked Fajra. Or, if we're going to put it in other words, Fajra is the one he likes. Yet he believes that the Fajra he knows and the one in front of him are the same person. It's not that I believe his story about the other world he's referring to, but if I put myself in his shoes, that's what he's implying. Even if he doesn't tell me, I'm not that dense to not realize it.He cares for me based on the way he looks at me or even his words. I could feel it because I was once like this. I once cared secretly, stared secretly, and liked someone in secret."Hades," I called him.Because he was left there at the door of the inn we went to. There are no hotels here, so we just went here."What are you doing?" I asked with no emotion. He was just standing straight outside, as if someone had stopped him from going inside. He didn't answer me, so I hissed and came back to the door to get him."What?" I hissed."Let's meet here tomorrow." He pointed to the side.My face crumpled in confusi
We were thrown out of that place, to make a long story short. I was shivering in the cold while walking on the empty, dark street, looking for a place to stay.I muttered some words to myself a few times, and Hades looked at me every time I did that."Well, fvck it!" I stopped and couldn't stop screaming. "Could this day even get worse?"I angrily snapped that even my flaring nose was blowing cold smoke. Hades was looking at me with his deep eyes. I glared at him for a few seconds and rolled my eyes before continuing to walk.I still don't want to believe it. Unless I talk to that woman, only then will I believe again."Maybe that was his accomplice or something?" I talked to myself while walking. We were not accepted at the inn we went to, so we are currently returning to where we came from. Our steps echoed when we passed by the bridge that connects the central and rural areas where our house is located.I had passed there when I realized that the sound of Hades' footsteps following
I don't know if he is succeeding in getting into my head because it's all making sense now. It's like I'm suddenly involved in the story that only he knows because I seem to understand everything. Little by little, the answers came together in my mind."Where are we headed?"I laughed at myself when he spoke after about an hour. Yes, we were walking in the cold for almost an hour. There is nowhere else to go but the place I know."Just trust me."He didn't answer, so I looked at him. "And please, if we ever see that woman again, don't say anything so we don't have to encounter any more problems."He kept his mouth closed, so I just sneered. We are in the middle of the forest; the longer our walk, the more difficult it becomes because the area is quite high.We can hear each other in that forest, and I'm not even bothered. We are used to me coming here, just not at this critical time."Fajra." I was surprised when he pulled me by my arm and looked around alertly. I got startled. I look
