The slow click of the twisting door knob woke me from my sleep, I knew something was wrong when I didn’t feel the pleasant hold of my mate and somehow I had missed his presence even as I slept and it suddenly became hard and uncomfortable to sleep without the warmth of my mates body. I felt small in his larger frame and even smaller when i Kay my head on his chest and felt the steady vibrations of his heart beating in chest.

I had slipped out of my clothes right before he came back to bed and I loved the way he twisted my nipples in his fingers, the little shocks of pain arousing me and oddly causing intense pleasure.

I drifted back to sleep, wishing that this moment never ended but was heartbroken when I woke to the blinding rays of light that warmed my eyelids through the window.
