As usual, Cassie had gotten up really early to get breakfast ready for her dad and Alexander. She spends the whole time thinking of what it would be like living with just Aaron and Alex as she made some scrambled eggs and readied their coffee. Aaron’s words keep ringing in her head? Two weeks had gone by in a blink of an eye, it was barely a week to Christmas and the cold had gotten so much worse. The house felt emptier without Mr. Adams and Alexander, though Cassie spoke to them every day, it wasn’t like having them at around.
