Kaylee pov

The door flies open, and the man from before comes walking inside fast and stops while looking between us.

"We got a lead on them," he says when I turn my head to look at Darian, where he stands with his eyes still on me.

"I'll be right out," he says, pushing of the desk when I hear the man walk out of the office and close the door after him. We are alone there, and right now I don't know what to say when he takes a step closer to where I stand.

"I will contact Aron, and we will talk later. In the mean time, you go with the rest and train." He orders when I see his eyes glance over, and the door to his office is opened by the same guard as before.

Looking back at Darian, I know he is done talking to me, and there is no point in lingering inside his office, there isn't anything else I can do right now.
