Chapter 54

Dorothy sneered. “Olivia, I was kind enough to call you to come eat. Don’t be ungrateful!”

“Open the door, then. Why are you still keeping the door locked? You’re such a hypocrite!”

“Oh, Olivia, entertain me if you want to eat. Well, why don’t you bark a few times? When I’m satisfied, I’ll open the door for you to eat.”

Dorothy grinned. She would make Olivia feel humiliated.

However, she heard Olivia’s cold voice saying, “Bark like a dog? In your dreams, Dorothy!”

Frustrated, Dorothy tapped on the door and threatened her. “Don’t take advantage of the situation. I won’t give you any more food if you don’t eat now. You can complain to Johnny about it if you can.”

Complain?

Olivia smiled wryly and shook her head. John would only beat her again if she complained to him about Dorothy.

Her body could not bear such brutal abuse anymore. She would rather wait in the room until John’s anger subsided and not cause another conflict.
