Chapter 2203 Cyan Wants a Villa

Author: Five Generals
Lock’s family looked at Kaze in surprise as this was the last place they expected to see him.

Wyomspring was Riverbank City’s affluent area.

Commoners would have trouble affording the space for a toilet there.

Kaze did not expect to run into the Yemens. He turned around and went over to say hello with a smile. “Mr. and Mrs. Yemen, have you had lunch yet?”

“Yes.”

Lock nodded.

“You would know whether we had lunch or not.”

Ryna scoffed in disdain.

She believed Kaze tailed them to Wyomspring and pretended to run into them.

Ryna had warned Kaze not to get any ideas about Cyan.

The only thing on Ryna’s mind was ways to get rid of Kaze.

She had asked her niece, Violet, to sort Kaze out, but Violet went radio silent. When Ryna asked about Kaze, Violent would keep a tight lip, insisting that nothing happened.

Cyan pouted and refused to give Kaze any attention.

Kaze was getting on her nerves for creeping on her.

Unconcerned about Ryna and Cyan’s attitude, Kaze asked i

Kaze had been waiting for the update. Upon receiving the news, he swiftly left the villa. Behind the wheel, Kaze sped on the road. Ryan had located Lyra’s villa, and the location was rather secluded. Kaze glanced at the time. It should take him half an hour to arrive at the destination. He hoped he was not too late. Darcy had been held captive for a day, so she should be able to hold on. Even so, Kaze could not shake off his anxiety. The only thing on his mind was to get there and save Darcy. Hopefully, no harm had come to her, or he would have to live with the guilt. Kaze had no idea why Lyra had her eye on Darcy. However, he had a feeling that reason was likely related to him. As such, he had a responsibility to get Darcy out and make sure she was not hurt. Cassey moved fast, producing results today itself, which was a good thing for Kaze. It meant Darcy must have been left behind in the villa, making the rescue easier for him. Anxious, Kaze stepped on the gas to race to

“Fill me in.” The incident came as a surprise to Lyra, but she could sense that something was off. “I sent a team the moment I heard the news. A lot of our territories have been occupied. I don’t have the details, but one thing’s for sure, the death and injury tolls are climbing when it comes to our men,” Fletcher said cautiously before nervously turning to Lyra. The severity of the matter weighed on them. Quill grimaced hard. It was time to leave Westeros. “Cassey sure has the nerve to do this. It doesn’t matter, though. The North State is still my turf.” Lyra could not care about anything else except making a move out of there. “What about the situation here, ma’am?” The person in captivity came to Quill’s mind. If they were to leave, the person would die without food or water. “Who cares? I don’t have time for anything else.” While talking, Lyra geared up to take the chopper. Her people also got ready to set off to the North State. “We should keep several of our

Cassey understood that the victory was not the real win. It was just a new beginning. Lyra must be very upset, and that was the part Cassey was most proud of. Now, he would seize the chance to lay out his trap and wait for Lyra to arrive. Wade knew that they were in for a rough fight, and it was time to keep their guards up. The rest would be a breeze. Once the estate was reclaimed, he would put his people in charge. Everything happened so quickly, and in mere hours, the dust settled. Meanwhile, Lyra was relaxing in her villa, waiting for Darcy to confess. She could not miss the chance. Even though the identity of the West State’s branch leader was a secret, Lyra had the feeling that he had a weakness and something he cared about. By figuring him out, she could identify his weakness and have a firm grasp on him. Lyra was a proud and arrogant woman. She had always believed that with enough power, she could manipulate everything. Although everything in the North State was

“I hope to get the chance, but I fear our positions won’t be equal. I’d have to surrender to him.” Cassey could not shake off an unsettling feeling. He was more powerful than the West State’s branch leader. Yet, Cassey feared him. The West State’s branch leader was an elusive and strange man. He did not hold absolute power, but he was willing to help others. While confused, Cassey must admit that he understood people’s hearts better than anyone. “I shouldn’t worry about that now. We need to hurry up and reclaim the place.” Cassey looked at the estate in anticipation, knowing it would soon be his, but of course, he would have to deal with Lyra first. “The people inside are ready for you. They are still trying to retaliate. They’re tough nuts to crack for sure.” With an uneasiness taking over, Wade needed to get the whole thing done and over with. If those people would not play along, Wade would just finish them off. The only issue was that the massacre would not reflect gr

Everybody started eating the sandwiches. The ingredients hit the spot. “The food is humble today, but I hope when we get back, we will have a celebratory feast. “I won’t let you down on the food. The better you do, the higher your reward.“As you are aware, I am a generous man. I’m not one to shortchange my people. You get a property each for your good performance. Those who excel will get a property, a car, and a cash reward.” Cassey stood on stage and gave a pep talk. He was a man of his word, so his men respected him and took his word for it. “You are so generous, Mr. Nash.” “In that case, I'd better get moving, or I’ll miss the chance to hit the jackpot.” “The branch leader never lets us down.” Cassey smiled gleefully at the chatter. He turned around and faced his trusted comrades. They were the skilled fighters who would be leading the teams today. “I appreciate your efforts,” Cassey said earnestly, his eyes reflecting sincerity. “You’re too kind, Mr. Nash

“Even if these people wanted the land, they would have no way of taking it.“Edmund doesn’t have the ambition or the power. He is on Lyra’s radar too. If he messes with us, he’s only digging his own grave.” Some of Cassey’s men were confident that the whole thing was a good opportunity, especially since there were no strings attached. Cassey sat on the chair, listening to the discussion and understanding their thoughts. However, he was not pleased with the outcome. He wanted to seize the chance and destroy her influence in the North State while Lyra was not around. Cassey was done with hiding. He did not want to be the person who made the compromise again. The only thing on his mind was to take back what was his. “Take a look at this. Is there anything you want to bring up? Where can we start?” Cassey uttered nonchalantly. It would take good planning to ensure no issues. Amid the confusion, the people picked the document up to read and were shocked at their discovery
