David and Yvonne left the restaurant and headed to his car.

"I had a lovely night, dear friend," Yvonne said, as he opened the door for her. "Thank you."

"I should be the one thanking you. You suggested going to the restaurant and we did and had a great time," David said, watching her enter the car.

"Have you and your girl spoken?" Yvonne asked.

"I and Isabella haven't spoken yet. When we get home, I'll call her," David said, as he got into the car. "Put on your seatbelt ma'am."
