3. Crazy Couple

“I think you're really crazy. Just one visit to a nightclub, and you're going to be husband and wife?” Rosalie said in amazement.

The news of Kelmira and Corven's marriage came as a surprise to many people, including Rosalie and the Beaufort family. Kelmira herself was unconcerned by the shocked reactions to her and Corven's marriage. Not to mention the news that constantly reported on Corven's marriage. The news of the wedding made Kelmira an overnight celebrity. Now, many people were busy waiting for her to get information. Kelmira couldn't leave her apartment because the man she was going to marry was a famous figure. News about wealthy people always attracted attention everywhere.

“Rosalie, I don't want to talk about this.”

“Tell me, what kind of service did you provide to Corven Beaufort that he pulled you out of the nightclub and decided to marry you? Tell me how, Kelmira.”

Kelmira pushed Rosalie's face away from hers, which was so close to hers, by pushing the woman's forehead. No one could know what Corven and Kelmira had agreed upon. Especially Rosalie, the person that’s really close to Kelmira. Why? Because Kelmira doesn’t want anything bad to happen to her friend in the future.

“The less you know, the better, Rosalie.”

“Wait a minute,” Rosalie said nervously. “Are you saying that everything you’re doing with Corven right now… is a deal with the devil?”

“Corven is just a human, Rosalie.”

"I know. But it's possible that with the news out there about rich people worshipping Satan, right? Who knows, the Corven family might be one of them."

Kelmira shook his head wearily. "They're ordinary people, and their wealth isn't any more outrageous than that of tech entrepreneurs. But at least you don't have to worry about the problems of wealthy people like Corven. It's too complicated and won't benefit you."

“But you want to be his wife, does that mean you get benefits?”

Talking to Rosalie now was truly exhausting Kelmira. Her friend was too inquisitive.

“Rosalie, I thank you for being my roommate. I might even help you out with living expenses occasionally. I don’t know what life will be like as Corven Beaufort’s wife. If I can’t be friends with you like I used to be, I apologize. I don’t want to drag you into an environment that will surely make you uncomfortable. I don’t mean to mock you, but our friendship… I can’t naively say we’ll remain friends like before. There’s a price I have to pay for being Corven’s wife. After this, live well. Don’t rely on rich men.”

“What the hell are you talking about!? You rely on a rich man to survive, Kelmira!”

Kelmira patiently continued. "There are many things about me you never knew. My past, my true life story... I don't have to explain everything to you as a friend. After this, just be yourself and be happy, Rosalie."

Kelmira rubbed Rosalie's shoulder and they hugged each other before Kelmira's cell phone rang, showing an incoming phone call from Corven.

“I have to go. Starting tonight, I'll be staying with Corven. Take care of yourself, Rosalie. See you later.”

Corven waited in his car, reading every document attachment on his tablet regarding Kelmira. Yes, all the information about Kelmira's past and how she lived before entering Corven's world. Of course, Corven wasn't a fool who attracted Kelmira as his wife just because of her abilities. Corven knew that Kelmira wasn't just some random woman who suddenly became Corven's executive assistant. There was an ulterior motive that Corven was still trying to understand. However, at least Corven knew Kelmira's goal in entering the Beaufort family was to have an ambition for something. Just as Corven wanted to completely control Beaufort, Kelmira was the perfect person to help Corven achieve everything.

When the bodyguard opened the car door and revealed Kelmira, dressed in all black, which made her even more striking and suspicious, Corven's smile widened. He slowly put his tablet aside and stared at Kelmira as if she were his world. Women always appreciate small attention, and that's exactly what Corven was doing to draw Kelmira in, making her unable to get out of their agreement.

“What are you doing wearing all black like this, Kelmira?”

“Too many people are looking for me. By covering myself up completely like this, no one will see me.”

Corven laughed at that. "Your all-black outfit is actually making people suspicious of you. You're so eye-catching with all that black on your body."

“In fact, no one approached me or took my picture.”

“That’s because you’re with my guards. And what are you saying? No one took your picture? Look at this,” Corven showed Kelmira the report from the person he hired. “They took your picture, but don’t worry, it won’t appear on any news portals. Because you’ll always be safe with me.”

Declaring Kelmira would always be safe with him was something Corven had always strived for. In reality, he didn't want what happened to his mother to happen to Kelmira. Back then, Corven was too small and powerless, but now he had the ability to protect Kelmira as best he could.

“Hey, Corven?” Kelmira said.

“Oh, yeah. Sorry, I was daydreaming.”

“Is there anything you would like to share with me?”

Corven shook his head and ordered his driver to go to their first destination.

“We're not going straight to your house?”

“You need clothes.”

“I brought—”

“Clothes that the Beaufort family would not look down on you.”

Kelmira lost with that one sentence.

“You must always remember that joining the Beaufort family means you're always prepared to receive hurtful words from them. No matter how hard you try to fit in, they'll always consider you a stranger who doesn't deserve to sit among them.”

Kelmira listened seriously, but that didn't mean she was proud of what Corven explained.

“You have no idea how good I am at handling demeaning remarks. There's no need to worry about what your family will say or do. I know which thorny ladder I'm on.”

Kelmira showed off every outfit she tried on in front of Corven. There wasn't a single outfit that didn't end up in the shopping bag. Corven bought everything for Kelmira, who was already sleepy from all this shopping agenda. After three boring hours, they finally arrived at Corven's residence, which really opened Kelmira's eyes once again to the fact that she was indeed dealing with a very rich man. Kelmira should have been even more afraid when she realized Corven could do anything with the money and power he possessed. However, Kelmira remembered once again the worst possible outcome: death. For Kelmira, death would at least end all her hardships in this life, if that were what happened to her. In the end, everyone will die, right?

“Your room is across from mine, but for tonight you sleep with me, in my room.”

Kelmira simply watched as the maid carried that woman's belongings to another room opposite Corven's. Once again, the distance that Kelmira was referring to wasn't the distance between her and Rosalie's rooms in their modest apartment, where when they both happened to leave their rooms, the distance between them was very narrow and not enough for two people to walk side by side.

In the middle, there was a large sofa that even Kelmira began to question how many guests would come until the long sofa was displayed widely as a divider between the rooms?

"Wouldn't it be better if we each prepare ourselves tonight? Because in a few days, we'll be a married couple."

“No need. I want you in my room tonight. And there's something I want to discuss with you, regarding our prenuptial agreement.”

“Oh, didn't I send you every point?”

“Yes, and I wanted to add a few more before we formalize it with the lawyers.”

Kelmira didn't know what extra points Corven would give to their prenup. With all the questions swirling in her head, Kelmira waited. From what Corven did in his room—taking off his clothes, his shoes, and pouring wine into a glass without even looking at her—it seemed like Corven simply wanted company and comfort.

Kelmira stood up and tried to remove her clothes one by one. Corven didn't resist, which meant he really wanted sex right now. Corven sat on the single chair, observing Kelmira's movements. Kelmira's actions were exactly like a prostitute. However, that's what brought Kelmira to this point: seducing Corven with her body.

When Kelmira was completely naked, and walked over to climb onto Corven's lap, that man refused.

“I don't want you tonight.”

Kelmira was really annoyed by Corven's attitude of playing with her like this.

“If you didn't want it, why didn't you say so from the beginning?"

“Because I want to see it.”

"What do you want to see?"

“Seeing you touch yourself.”

Kelmira was willing to do it. She would do anything to make Corven pay more attention to her than anything else. Kelmira took a step back, settling comfortably on Corven's bed. She spread her legs, bending her knees, so that her pussy was clearly visible to Corven—who savored the wine in his hand without taking his eyes off her.

Kelmira's left hand supported her own body weight, and the right hand began to wet her fingers with saliva before touching and entering her own feminine hole.

Kelmira never took her eyes off Corven. They continued to stare at each other, making Kelmira imagine Corven's hands touching her. However, no matter how much Kelmira used her fingers to pleasure herself, it would still be nothing compared to Corven touching her.

“Don’t want to join me, Mr. Corven?” Kelmira teased.

Corven smiled and got up from his chair. His knee was between Kelmira's legs. Kelmira held her breath, looking up to receive a kiss on the lips from Corven. Unusually, the duration of Corven kissing Kelmira's lips was shorter.

Without Kelmira expecting it, Corven whispered a sentence that surprised her.

“This is what you always get when you're not completely honest with me, Kelmira.”

Kelmira's body froze, realizing that Corven had noticed something.

“What do you mean?”

“What I mean is, I forgive you this time, because you used your role as my executive assistant to hide all information about yourself from me. Now that you're no longer my assistant, I can reveal your full background, Kelmira.”

Corven's smile intimidated Kelmira. “Welcome to the Beaufort household, Kelmira. Let's play as the crazy couple in this house.”

Kelmira tried to remain calm at Corven's words. The secret she held wasn't meant for Corven to know, but even if he did, there was no need to lie any further. No matter how much she tried to deceive him, he would still be able to uncover what was hidden from her."Wait a minute! I'm not officially your wife yet, and that means I haven't officially resigned from being your executive assistant either."Kelmira tried to push Corven's chest away and position herself to avoid being caught in his game. Kelmira's current position was indeed awkward and strange. She had just masturbated, trying to seduce Corven, when suddenly the man uttered a terrifying sentence in the midst of her teasing."Let's talk about this as your boss and your executive assistant, who hasn't fully resigned. I still have reasons to dispute what you're saying."Corven nodded his head, not looking convinced to listen to Kelmira, but rather looking like he was mocking that woman."Alright, alright. Let's hear what you ha

  • Handling The Bad Billionaire   2. A Game We'd Play

“This is what you want?! This kind of game you want to play with me, Kelmira?!”Kelmira remained calm even as Corven continued to show his anger. The anger that Kelmira had predicted since the first day she makes the plan in her mind. There were two possibilities when Corven saw her with another man. First, feeling jealous because he felt Kelmira was the woman who owned his heart. Second, feeling like his 'toy' should not be touched by others because if so, Corven felt his pride fell to the bottom of the most shameful abyss. As for the possibility of jealousy, Kelmira was not so sure. Right now, Corven's ego was offended because Kelmira could be flirty with another man.“Oh, Boss! Why are you so angry?”Kelmira touched Corven's hand and made a pleading face at him. This was a tactic, remember? To make that billionaire feel important and powerful until he thinks like he was the only one in the world that Kelmira needed.“You cunning woman!” Corven cursed as he swung his hand to escape

“Stop being so husbandable if you can’t be my husband.” Kelmira warns Corven while their kisses are not done. It's not a peculiar thing for a company CEO to have a secret relationship with his secretary. Corven and Kelmira are currently experiencing the same thing. Having fun? It seems a serious relationship isn't appropriate for either of them, as Kelmira knows she's merely being used as a means of fulfilling Corven's lust.“So, you want to be more than this?” ask Corven.Anyone could see Kelmira's eyes light up when Corven finally asked her that question. A burning desire to have a company leader, a wealthy man born with a golden spoon. What kind of a woman wouldn't want more than just sex buddy with Corven Beaufort?“Get away, Corven. I know that you’re just joking around. I have to go—”“I’ll give you everything.”Kelmira froze at Corven's words. It was unusual for him to respond so quickly to her. She knew that whenever they made love, there was no such romantic bond in his eyes.
