CHAPTER 49
EMBERLYNN’S POV
I stretch and realize I'm cold, I try to pull the covers up my chin and I realize something is holding my hands down, I open my eyes and look down, I gasp and sit up when I see I sincerely have a hand on mine, I regret the action as my whole body protests, my head bangs and my eyes turn me, and I have the urge to throw up.
“I’m sure one of the advice the doctor gave was for you to rest and be calm”, I hear and realize its Luca’s voice.
When I feel my body settled a bit I look at him and see him sitting on a stool close to the bed, “This room is pretty beautiful, didn’t know there was such in here”, he says again and I look round.
This was my dad’s room and there’s practically nothing overly beautiful about it, it was painted in ash, and even the drapes were black, giving the room a dark ambiance whenever, if you got in here, every time would be night for you.

CHAPTER 52ARIA’S POV“It’s getting late, what’s your plan?” I ask as I step into William’s office, oops, I meant Luca’s office.He doesn’t raise his head from whatever it is that has his attention over there, “Come look”, he says and I continue to advance towards his table.I finally reach and I join him to look at the documents on the table.“You're that happy?” I ask smiling as I see what it is that has his attention.“Yes baby, I'm that happy and I don’t feel like sitting down for dinner with a pregnant woman, let’s go to the club and blow drink to our heart’s content, let’s go be happy”, he says putting his hands out for me, I take it and he guides me around his desk, when I'm finally before him he pulls and I fall on his laps.“You know I can’t say no to you”, I say and he smiles big as if I gave him the best news ever
