Ronan’s POV

“Okay, I have had enough,” Matt says, snapping me out of my thoughts.

I look at him, lounging on the couch in my living room while I sit by the bar, taking a few drinks. Nothing much.

Aria and Mia are on a girl date. Shopping. Lunch. Dinner. All the works. Matthew drove Mia down here this morning. They spent a few minutes here before they had to leave.

Now, I am home alone with Matthew.

“What is it?” I ask him.

“No.” He says, sitting up and looking at me. “I should be asking

  • Her Secret, His Obsession    Chapter 122

Ronan’s POV “Okay, I have had enough,” Matt says, snapping me out of my thoughts. “I should be asking you that. What is it?” I frown and take a gulp of my drink. “What do you mean by that?”“Come on, Ronan. You have been sitting by that makeshift bar all day, drinking….” I roll my eyes and scoff. “Just because you can’t drink…” “This isn’t about whether or not I can drink and you know that.” He cuts in smoothly. “Something is going on with you.” Of course, he is able to catch on. I don’t know why I ever thought Matt would be oblivious to it, anyway. I haven’t been myself. Not since that day

Aria’s POV “Stop it,” I say, halfheartedly. He doesn’t stop. I giggle as Ronan continues blowing raspberries in my ears. It’s the weekend and we are spending the night together—just us. We had the best dinner ever. The chef Ronan hired is a god in the kitchen, he makes the best meal ever. Ronan did not like me complimenting the man, so he has decided spontaneously that he will learn to cook so I can direct all my compliments to him and only him. “You like it.” He whispers in my ear, his tone going from playful voice to sweet, sultry, and seductive tone. My body responds to the change immediately. My nipples harden against his chest and I tighten my legs around his waist, moving my hips in the most subtle way I can. My breath catches as my clit brushes his knee. “Are we still talking about Raspberries here, sweetheart?” Ronan teases. I groan and hide my face in his neck. “Shut up. You started it.” He chuckles, his entire body vibrating and making my body shake. He leans down a

Adrian’s POV My phone beeps, signaling a new text, and I know there is only one person who will be texting me. I pick up my phone and let out a tortured groan as I read the text. BOSS: This is not what I am paying you to do. What the actual fuck? What the hell does this faceless monkey want from me? Or even from Aria? I have done everything he asked. Given him all the information he wanted, everything he wanted to know, I gave it to him. I spend all of my time secretly following Aria around and watching her. I tell him everything so what the hell is this about again? ADRIAN: What else do you want from me? I already told you what her schedule looks like. I reply angrily. The only reason I am yet to block and delete his number is because he has yet to pay me. He paid half upfront but he hasn’t paid the remaining half. And I do not know what this monkey looks like, he never agrees to meet, he always shuts down my requests to see him face-to-face and he uses different numbers to text

  • Her Secret, His Obsession    Chapter 119

Aria’s POV Would it be weird if I showed up with Ronan? I am nervous. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t anyway. I am nervous as hell. I have never met his grandmother alone, Ronan was always with me anytime we had to see his grandma. I know I told him that I could handle it this morning but I fear that was a very good example of false bravado. I thought about calling Ronan at least ten times before I left the house. I know he would leave whatever it is that he has going on and join me in a heartbeat if I asked. But I also know I can’t take him away from work for the second time in a row, so yeah. Here I am. In one of those high-end restaurants I never imagined I could ever go to. The restaurant is tucked away in the middle of one of these high class clubhouse, the kind of place that a normal citizen wouldn’t even know existed because the membership is exclusively for the elite and I am sure the membership costs more than I can ever make. I enter the restaurant and I am welcom

  • Her Secret, His Obsession    Chapter 118

Ronan’s POV “Hey,” Aria calls softly from our bed. I catch a glimpse of her through the mirror as I continue knotting my tie. Every time I see her, every time I remember that she is mine— which is every second, literally— I make a vow to never ever lose her. And every time I see like this, in our bed, scantily dressed, with her hair looking well slept in, flushed skin and all, I wonder how I got so lucky to have her in my life. “Hey,” I call back and I let go of my tie and walk up to her. I climb on the bed and she immediately angles her head up, reaching for a kiss. I don’t think twice about it, she doesn’t even have to ask twice. I kiss her softly and she hums into the kiss. I pull back and gently tuck her hair behind her ears. “Did I wake you?”I tried not to wake her. I know she had a long day yesterday, with the dance and multiple interviews, and the dinner party at my parents'. She shakes her head with a smile. “No, you didn’t.” “Hmm.” I hum and kiss her forehead. Her e

  • Her Secret, His Obsession    Chapter 117

Aria’s POV Ronan was right. There is nothing small about this ‘small party’ that Sofia organized. There are people everywhere, people I have never met before. “There is definitely nothing small about this party,” I mumble to myself. Ronan shrugs with a laugh. “Told you.” My eyes bounce around the different people walking in and out of the garden. I take in the professionally dressed waiter and waitress serving drinks and snacks to people. There is a huge banner at the entrance of the garden that says ‘Congratulations Aria’. The banner is red. Go figure. “What? This is a lot. How did she even do this?” I exclaim, tightening my hold on Ronan’s arms. “It’s my mum.” He says simply. Before I can respond, Sofia comes into view. Looking like royalty in her floor-length gold dress and crown, she actually has a tiara on. “Oh my God, you are here.” She squeals when she spots us. She speed-walks towards us with arms open wide, face glowing with delight and satisfaction. I quickly let
