The tension in the room dissipates as the music begins to play again. People start to dance and laugh, the fear slowly lifting from my face. Alex and I joined in, reveling in the joy of the moment. As we danced , I caught the eyes of the other guests. They seemed to understand what has just happened, and they nodded in gratitude. It felt like a new beginning, a fresh start. I felt a sense of hope, of possibility.

I couldn't help but feel relieved that the Andre was gone. The fear and uncertainty he had brought to the party was gone, replaced by a sense of calm and peace.
