“Why does it matter about the DNA? If it’s power she’s after, wouldn’t it just be more plausible for her to kill Vanessa and the pup?” I was really confused by this whole thing; I didn’t want my pup to die but my mum only kept something around if It were beneficial to her. So, as much as it pained me to say, taking Vanessa and the pup out of the equation would be the most obvious answer surely.
