Selena’s POV

The meeting dragged on for hours. Different official matters were discussed, and Mr. Sinner made corrections on some issues.

The meeting finally came to an end I felt relieved that I would be out of here,away from those piercing eyes that wouldn’t let me be since I made those corrections.

I stood up,shifted my seat backward and was about walking to meet Mr sinner when a guy named Max came to greet me.

“It’s nice having you here in the company,” he said with a smile, stretching out his hand for a handshake.

“I can’t shake you back,” I replied apologetically. “My religion doesn’t approve of that,” I further explained.

“It’s understandable,” he said with a gentle smile, not taking offense. “You were right back there. My thoughts were the same as yours about the project.”

“Oh, you think so?” I asked, surprised. “I thought everyone was offended because I spoke the truth.”

“Make me an exception,” he replied.

“Max, that’s the name,” he introduced himself again.
