Cozy and Warmth

Devika’s POV

Coming out of the shower, I dressed up and went down to the kitchen in hurry. Though it was just our second day in his parent’s home I did not want his parents to think of me as a lazy one. Due to their family and pack business running in the city they most of the time live there only. And, just two days ago his mother falling down the stairs stopped them from attending my ceremony which she has been regretting a lot. “Only if I would have been careful, then we would not have missed your Luna ceremony.”

No matter how many times both Adrian and I said that it was fine, she was still blaming herself. “Good morning dear.” With the brightest smile, she greeted me as I entered, “Do you need any help?” I asked looking around to find the breakfast almost prepared.

“I think I’m a bit late.” scratching the back of my head I said feeling a bit embarrassed.
