One Week later: Wolf Moon Pack House (Raoul’s and Jamie’s Home)
“It’s been a week, Sam! Her lady parts must be completely anilhilated by now. I mean, nobody has seen them at all! We don’t even know if he has completed the mating bond with her yet!" Thorne complained. Sam spat out some of his tea and coughed.

Jamie and Raoul headed into the city to meet the King of Rogues. Raoul was obviously slightly nervous about the visit. Jamie, on the other hand, was excited. She loved the bustle, smells and colours of the city. As Jamie was trying to cast them all to memory, asRoaul guided her to a tavern called The Cat’s Claw.Jamie walked into the Tavern and it reminded her of The Crone’s Head, except there were far more decorations on the walls and doors leading off to smaller rooms. Jamie woke up early the next day. She was excited about what the day would bring! She jumped out of bed and headed into the bathroom. She switched on the shower and was enjoying the warm water. She suddenly felt the warm body of Raoul behind her. He encircled her and kissed her neck. "Morning, Kitten!""Morning Roaul, I amguessing Blackthorn is.." The next few weeks were the busiest in Jamie’s life. But she felt happy that she had a purpose and was learning so much. The only downside was that she did not see much of Raoul as he was constantly carrying out his duties. She often fell asleep and woke up in an empty bed.The days were filled with Elemental Guard training. Jamie had fitnesses and fighting skills in the morning, in the afternoon it was more academic.Jamie excelled in the morning sessions. She spent time in each of the four elemental fight sessions. Somewhere underground Jamie was slipping in and out of consciousness. She hardly felt the cold anymore and she was so tired. She dreamed of being in Raoul’s arms. "Pathetic! Why do you rely on a man to protect you? You are so weak! You got yourself into this mess, you can get yourself out. Or are you just going to wallow in your own weakness and let this cock scum beat you again?" A cold voice said, inside her head. Just then, she heard the stone slab being moved. Every two hours, the guard would drag her out, beat her and then sling her back into the water dungeon. She had had six beatings so far, and was feeling incredibly weak at this point. Ironically, the cold water had helped with the swelling, but not so much with the broken ribs and the broken nose. The beatings had not been a wasted opportunity. Bit by bit, she looked around the room.
