I covered my mouth as Wave moved.
"Did you regret coming with me to the agency?" He asked. Is he awake? Did he catch what I just said? Shit.
"No," I answered.
"In these 7 years you are here, I know you still don't trust us, so I'll make you trust me."
"No, I trust you." I lied.
He kept quiet, piercing his eyes on me. I smiled at him for an added effect to make him believe me. No, he should not know my plan.
"Okay." He said when he was finally satisfied and fall asleep.
With that, I lay on the other side of the sofa and fell asleep.
I woke up to the sound of Wave mumbling a loud curse. I sat upright and saw the irritated look on his face.
"it was a fake." Wave looked at me, breathing deeply. "I knew it! Damn it!"
