Chapter 46 Fears And Worries of Zamir

Zamir feels afraid of the darkness that surrounds the house. He didn’t move from the place where he lay down because he felt he would bump into Jessica and disturb her if he moved. The space between her and him is too small. He can smell her perfume and hear her breath. He can see her face because of the fading light coming from the flashlight. The light nearly dies because the battery is almost drained. Jessica sleeps like an angel.

It’s past midnight, but Zamir can’t go to sleep. He felt too cold. He thinks the roof of this hut is covered with snow. That’s why it is too cold inside the hut.

Maybe Jessica felt too cold also, so Zamir got up from bed. He removed his jacket to use as a cover for Jessica but Jessica opened her eyes all of the sudden then she saw Zamir removing his jacket. Jessica feels too afraid. She wonders what he is doing. She thinks he will do something bad to her, but she is embarrassed by what she is thinking when Zamir just covers his jacket over her
