Amidst the shadows that envelop the barnhouse, Marco De Luca arrives with an air of authority, determined to extinguish the supposed threat posed by Daren. His steps echo with a lethal rhythm, resonating the impending confrontation. "Where is he?" Marco's voice cuts through the tense silence as he addresses one of his goons, his gaze piercing the room. "He's tied in that corner," Vinny replies, pointing towards an ominous darkness. “Guardia bene," Marco commands, a subtle flick of his fingers. Vinny, a close ally in Marco's trusted circle, stations two tough guys outside the barn, ready to guard against any unexpected trouble. Spotting Daren, Marco issues an unsettling directive, deploying two of his men to commence a brutal assault on Daren even in his sleep. The initial blow to Daren's stomach jolts him awake, blindfolded and futilely struggling against his restraints. The onslaught continues, the men taking turns to rain blows upon Daren, assaulting different parts of his body mercilessly. Marco intervenes, signaling a temporary halt to the violence. Insisting on a one-on-one conversation with Daren. "Come face me like a man! Coward!" Daren defiantly shouts, his blindfold still intact. "Remove the damn blindfold," Marco orders with a commanding tone, initiating a chilling exchange with Daren. "Now," Marco declares, an ominous glint in his eyes as he takes command of the moment. "I am not afraid of you, not at all!" Daren asserts, standing firm against the beatings. "Now, is that so?" Marco retorts, his laughter resonating through the barn. "Our friend here says he's not afraid." The other men join in the laughter. "I'll give you a little something to be scared about then," Marco declares, signaling his men to resume the merciless beating. As the ruthless assault persists, Marco halts the violence once again to deliver a direct message to Daren. "Now you listen," Marco asserts, locking eyes with Daren. “You're getting caught up in my affairs, and I suggest you cut ties whatever involvement you have," Marco asserts, locking eyes with Daren. "I love Elena, and I won't leave her for anyone, definitely not you!" Daren defiantly responds, the fire in his eyes undiminished. Losing his composure, Marco retaliates with a punch. “I'm done trying to be reasonable. Believe me, you'll be endangering your life if you're ever seen around Elena again." With a final warning, Marco exits the barn, leaving Vinny to capture images of Daren. They retreat from the barnyard, leaving two men behind to watch over Daren until Marco deems fit to release him. "Send our message," Marco instructs Vinny as they make their way to the limousine, leaving behind a scene of pain and menace in the secluded barn. ELENA Home, the place where I seek solace and a sanctuary from my life’s chaos. The comforting routine is disrupted when a text notification chimes on my phone.
