Chapter 54

I turned around so my back was facing Alex. I knew I was not going to get anything tonight so I just tried to sleep.

"Baby," Alex whispered, but I did not answer him. He touched my waist and gave it a squeeze, but I still did not make any move. I reached back and took his hand off my waist.

~ALEX POV

I did not know what happened, she just pushed my hand away from her waist. I tried calling her name again but she did not give any response.

Was she mad at me? I left her alone and lay down flat on my back, looking up at the ceiling. After a few minutes I heard soft snores coming from her side. I knew Victoria had fallen asleep.

~VICTORIA POV

I finished putting on my high waist jean, crop top, and black big boots. I only put on some lipgloss and I was ready. I went downstairs and saw the boys already having breakfast while my mom served them coffee.

"Morning mom," I chirped.

"Morning baby."

I went around and kissed Sean and Collins on the cheek. When I reached Alex I just waved at him. His face looked confused. He probably wondered why I did not kiss his cheek like the others. I did not even know why I was mad at him. But it felt good every time he apologized. I did not understand what was wrong with me, but I always wanted him to apologize.

There was an empty seat next to Alex but I did not want to sit close to him, so I took a stool from the kitchen and put it between Collins and Sean.

Everyone at the table exchanged a confused look. Alex looked hurt but I did not change my mind.

After breakfast we went outside for school. We were supposed to go in Alex's car. Since I was ignoring him, I told the guys I would just order a ride.

"Hey, what do you mean? Why are you suddenly ignoring Alex? Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed?" Sean asked.

I did not even understand why I was doing this. Maybe because Alex didn't notice I was mad last night when he did not touch me, and he did not ask why I was suddenly angry. He just let me fall asleep.

"I'm not ignoring anyone. I just don't want to ride with you guys," I said while I started ordering a ride on my phone. My friends stood by the car watching me, but I refused to look at them.

~ALEX POV~~

Victoria always acted childish only with me. She never gave Sean or Collins that attitude. Over the years I noticed she always wanted me to apologize even when she was wrong.

But Not anymore. I wouldn't apologize and I would not talk to her if that was the game she wanted.

We just finished our lectures and all the students were leaving the hall. I pulled out my phone and scrolled through I*******m. I saw the picture I posted last week of me and Victoria at the beach during summer break. She looked bright and happy trying to cover her face when I took the photo.

My smile faded when I remembered I was gonna give her the silent treatment she wanted.

"Hey baby," Sharon said as she walked in, swaying her hips. She wore a short gown that showed her round butt and full breasts. The deep cut showed lots of cleavage. Almost every guy in our department liked her.

This was my chance to get back at Victoria.

Sharon sat on my lap and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Baby I missed you. Can we go on a date?" she asked.

Before I could answer, Victoria walked in. Her eyes went straight to us. I saw her face get hard with anger when she looked at Sharon's arms around me.

Time for games, babygirl.

I put my arms around Sharon's waist and started to act.

"No sugar, we don't need to go out. Let's just stay indoors. Why don't you come to my place this evening for a sleepover and leave on Sunday?"

"Really baby? I would love that," she said and kissed me.

I felt nothing, but I needed this to hurt Victoria. My eyes found Victoria again. The pain on her face made my chest tight. I wanted to make her hurt for ignoring me, but now I was hurting too. Still, I would not talk to her unless she talked first.

~VICTORIA POV~~

I thought Alex would apologize when he saw me at school. But he did something I never expected. He was flirting with Sharon and it hurt so bad. What if I keep acting cold and he falls for her? That can never happen! I stood at his door ready to knock.

Would he talk to me? Would he let me in?

I knocked once but no one answered. I knocked again but still nothing.

'Why don't you come to my place this evening for a sleepover and leave on Sunday'

His words kept playing in my head. What if Sharon was already inside? Would I let them spend the whole weekend together? Never! I would not let that happen.

I knocked harder. Just as I was about to knock again the door opened. Alex stood there with only a towel around his waist, water was dripping down his chest. He looked so sexy. I guessed he just finished taking a bath.

When he saw me his smile disappeared. He looked unhappy to see me.

Wow, was he waiting for Sharon?

"What are_"

I did not let him finish. I ran to him and hugged him tight. He stood still and did not hug me back. When I pulled away his face showed no emotions.

"What are you doing here?" The question I did not want to hear came out of his mouth.

"What do you mean why am I here? Am I interrupting something? Did you have a girl in there?"

"Yes, you are interrupting something. Since you do not have anything important to say, I will just go back to what I was doing," he said and tried to close the door. I put my foot in the way to stop it.

His face grew hard when he saw that.

"Victoria remove your foot. Do not make me hurt you,"

He never calls me by my name! Has he given up on me?

"I have something important to say. Just give me a few minutes." He left the door open and stood there listening as he folded his arms.

"I am sorry. Please forgive me,"

"Ok I have forgiven you. I am not angry at you," he said and tried to close the door again.

"What? Just that?" I held the door back. "Will you not say anything about it?"

"I said something. I forgave you. What else do you want to hear?"

"Do you still love me?" I asked.

"..."

His silence made tears fill my eyes. "If you do not love me anymore, then what do I do with the love I have for you?"

"....."

I turned around to leave. Before I could take two steps he grabbed my arm and slammed me against the wall. I gasped. He took the chance and pressed his lips on mine. My face showed shock but I started returning his erotic kiss.
