Chapter 72

Marie pov

I wake to Ben beside me holding me to him while he snores away. I love his snuggles they are my comfort.

"Hey baby",Heath kisses my lips.

"Hi, I say shyly, how are you?",he smiles.

"Better baby, he looks at me, Ben said about us all visiting Maya today",he says softly and I freeze up. I love that child but her violence scares me to death.

"I think that will be good but I don't want to set her back so maybe me going isn't a good idea",I say and he frowns.

"She will want to see you Marie",he says but I don't believe it at all. Maya has said she hates me but loves them so I don't want to see her right now.

"I get it Heath but for now I'd rather not see her till I'm ready",I say and he nods.

"OKay my love but Ben and I want to visit her",I nod as I lay there and yawn. When both leave later to visit her I yawn and try to fall back asleep because I need more rest.
