30. Beyond Expectations

Ankita's pov

"Are you ready ,Sweetheart?"

I heard Elijah, asking me from outside of my room.

I rolled my eyes,hearing his endearment.

"You can come in...I am ready." I said as I was done getting ready.

He came inside and said,"Let's go ."

We both went out of my room and went inside the elevator. We reached the underground where he had made a makeshift doctor's chamber.

I don't understand why he can't take me to any hospital outside. Is there something he is hiding from me?

"What are you thinking?" He asked me as we walked towards the chamber.

"Why don't you take me to the hospital outside?" I asked him suspiciously.

"You will know when the right time will come." He said. I rolled my eyes.

Soon we reached the chamber where Dr Binita said.

"Good morning Doctor." We greeted her.

"Good morning…sit." She said to me.

Then she asked me the regular questions. I answered it correctly. She checked my weight as well.

It's been a week since the drug incident. Now I am perfectly fine and
