Emma’s POV

“What do you mean?" I found my voice to ask him.

The man scanned my panic-ridden face for two seconds and then said in a rather calm tone, "I am keeping the kids. You can leave."

I paused for a whole while, trying to process his words in my head. He was crystal clear with his message but a part of my brain was refusing to believe it.

I let out a chuckle out of nervousness and asked like a fool, "What do you mean you are going to keep the kids?"

"My sentence was self-explanatory. Ashel and Asher will continue their life in the Silver Moon Pack and will train to be the future heirs."

"You can't do that! I have been raising them since they were kids."

"And you did a good job in it, the only reason why I am not throwing you in prison right now." He lit up a cigarette and hooked the stick between his thin lips.

My fist balled and my eyebrows furrowed itself, "Not happening, Draven. I am not leaving my kids with a psychopath like you!"

He smirked but did not say anything,
