Third-Person Point of View

"If you can't do that, then why do you ask me to do it?" Riley asked, looking into Ezra's eyes.

Ezra let out a sigh of relief as his eyes filled with hope again.

"Does that mean..." Ezra paused, thinking about how to put it.

"Does that mean I have at least the slightest chance?" he asked, his eyes focusing on her without blinking.

"I don't know," Riley told the truth.

Ezra's eyes fluttered, and his face looked like it had lost its hope again.

"Your confession... I never even imagined that you had... "

"At this moment, I can't understand anything clearly. But I am sure of one thing," Riley looked into Ezra's eyes. "I just can't forget what you just said..."

Ezra sighed again. "That's fine... I have lots of patience," he smiled.

"I don't know how Eash actually feels about you or how you really feel about him. But I am clear about how I feel about you..."

"You may think my feelings are just words because, as a dominant alpha and one of the future heirs of my pa

  • I Have Two Wolves and Three Mates   68. Forget everything you said?

Third-Person Point of ViewRiley remembered the incidents that had happened when they both joined the same group for the first time. She was surprised when Ezra said he would come to the convenience store to work with her on their assignment. However, at that time, Riley didn't have any idea that Ezra harboured such feelings for her; she actually just felt Ezra had a caring and soft side beneath his usual cold and arrogant self. It was mainly because of how caring he was. He even brought her breakfast and always made sure she was well-fed and wasn't too tired. It turned out he did all those things because he actually loved her."When I worked closer to you that day, I actually confirmed that my decision to love you was the best decision I ever made. I realised how smart and kind you are. I have met many girls in my life, both in England and here; most of them just tried to win my favour for their benefit or just wanted to satisfy their desires of being with a dominant alpha. But you..

  • I Have Two Wolves and Three Mates   67. I actually fell in love with you.

Third-Person Point of View"Saving you that night was like that. I had no idea you were someone from the same college or that we would be sitting in the same lecture hall together the next day. However, that night after saving you, I felt something special about you." Ezra explained calmly."Something special about me?" Riley's heart filled with an unknown feeling."When I saw you in the lecture hall the next day, I knew meeting you that night was not something that randomly happened. I was pretty sure I was destined to meet you. I wanted to observe you more and get to know you more. I felt uneasy thinking that you had to walk home every night through the same deserted streets and that you were about to fall into big trouble. I couldn't help but worry. What if those bastards came again and tried to bother you? So, I decided I should go there and make sure you were safe."Destined to meet me... Riley felt speechless. Did he really feel like that the first time he met her? Didn't she al

Third-Person Point of ViewWhen Riley's treatments were over, it was already around midnight. An X-ray was taken, and fortunately, there were no fractures. The doctor suggested it could be a sprain. They pressed ice on the swelling and then wrapped the ankle with an elastic bandage. Painkillers were given because Riley was in unbearable pain. She was asked not to put weight on her ankle and to keep her foot raised above her heart level. When the doctor asked if she needed walking boots or ankle braces for stability, Riley was about to reject them. Still, her helper gestured to the doctor that they needed them. So, even a walking boot was given to her. After going through the whole process, the stranger took Riley to a small private room. There was food arranged on the table. Riley had totally forgotten she hadn't eaten properly since the morning. She just had some cookies and coffee. Even though she didn't feel hungry until now, when she saw the table full of food, she felt really

  • I Have Two Wolves and Three Mates   65. I have no intention of harming you in any way…

Third-Person Point of ViewRiley's foot slipped into the uncovered drain, and with a sharp twist, she crashed onto the ground. A wave of pain shot through her ankle; it was unbearably painful, and she let out a scream. Tears welled up in her eyes, blurring her vision as she clutched her injured ankle. Before Riley could even stand, strong arms wrapped around her, carefully lifting her into a seated position. The unmistakably familiar scent of warm and slightly woody perfume filled her nose. She didn't need to look up to see who was helping her; it must have been the masked stranger who had once helped her and who was following her today as well.He knelt beside her, his gloved hands carefully pulling her foot free from the drain. He rolled up her pants a bit higher to examine her injury. His touch was so gentle as if he was handling a delicate flower petal, but even that soft touch made Riley gasp in pain, tears spilling down her cheeks. She was in pain, and at the same time, she felt

  • I Have Two Wolves and Three Mates   64. So, who was this man?

Third-Person Point of ViewRiley went to the store on time and started working. Even though she came to work because she couldn't afford to take a leave, she was afraid Eash might come in the evening. She had no idea what she should do if he did. However, around 6 in the evening, she received a text from Eash."Did you go to work? I won't be able to pick you up today. I don't feel well. I think it's better to take a rest."Riley stared at the text for a few seconds, then laughed at herself for worrying about Eash coming to see her in the evening. It seemed like she had worried for nothing. He had no intention of seeing her. It was also clear to her that Eash's so-called sickness was just fake.As he had said in the past, he was a dominant alpha and wasn't bothered about a bit of sickness. When she saw Eash in the morning, he appeared fine despite being slightly exhausted. So, there was no way he could have suddenly fallen seriously ill, an illness unbearable even for a dominant alpha.
