Sarah’s POV.

Everyone in the kitchen looks in the direction toward a noise, which sounds like broken porcelain. The neighboring housekeepers give each other knowing looks; they all know about Diana's constant abuse and the constant struggle I confront. Anxiety rises as the room fills with hushed conversations.

After witnessing Diana's relentless tormenting, Mila trembles and looks away, dread and terror visible in her eyes. However, after a little while, she arrives to assist me in picking up the broken items.

Diana clenches her fists, her face pinched with anger at Mila's boldness. "Dear, you have no idea what you're getting yourself into. If you know what's good for you, stay away from this."

Mila, on the other hand, seems unconcerned, her voice trembling. "I just want to help, ma'am."

The other maids, inspired by Mila's bravery, gather in support, forming a protective circle around me. Their emotions ranged from rage to empathy as they grew tired of Diana's harsh behaviors.

  • I Stole The Don's Heart   Chapter 41: Let's Try Another Game

Henry’s POV The snow is still falling even though today is the end of the year. I get into the car, and Jack drives me to the Starlight Sands Casino. This is the biggest deal of the year, so I have to go by myself. If I can sign this contract, my company will be able to trade on the Silk Road in the Asia Pacific region. So I need to win the game to sign the contract. This rule has been in effect for one hundred years. According to the initial arrangement, I can only bring one man along. So I went with Jack, as usual. In the car, I stare at Sarah through my phone. She appears dejected in front of the Chanel store. Does she want to purchase those clothes? I frown, looking at her for a while. I suppose she might go to meet Victor and report everything about me to him but not. As she moves, I put my phone in my pocket because we've arrived at the casino. "Here we are!" Jack raises his voice. As I walk out of the car, the chilly air brushes my skin, and snowflakes fall around me

  • I Stole The Don's Heart   Chapter 40: I’m not who I thought I was

Sarah’s POV. I frown as I see that the bullet leaps from the trigger appear weird. It's more like a syringe piercing into his flesh. After all, he rolls his eyes and gradually goes into a dead faint. Mrs. Lincoln presses the red button on his wheelchair, causing the system to shut off. All his wolf-likeness becomes normal again and they don’t remember why they’re here in the first place. I unlock the tie for Henry, and his eyes lock on mine. He always acts like this. Like an asshole and professional playboy. Give me hope, then leave it at that. But I understand it. Because we’re in a different world. Perhaps one day I will gain my strength to tell him the truth that I need his help to save my mother. Still, I don’t know how to do it. Because I don’t know who I am in his heart. I’m his employee, I suppose. And that’s all. We return from combat. At last, I return to my room and lie on my cozy bed. I grab my go-to pajama top and head to the restroom. The poisoned story runs throu

  • I Stole The Don's Heart   Chapter 39: Then Kill Me, Mary

Henry’s POV. My heart skips a beat when I see Sarah. She is alive. She's still alive. Despite having my body restrained, I aim to get closer to her. I'd like to touch her. I want to make sure that this is not a dream. One buff man kicks my knee, forcing me to fall down to the ground. "Stay the fuck here, you son of the bitch," he rips out a growl. My mother stands in front of me, her face mute. As I look around, I realize this is the lab room for some shady research. Sarah looks at me, her eyes widening. Her body shivers as I scan her from head to toe. The cuts on her body are bleeding. And I feel as if the world is crumbling beneath my feet. What kind of feeling is this? It makes me choke. The feeling of being useless. "You…" Erik says, and his pupils widen in surprise. He moves closer to my mother in his wheelchair. Little by little. He recognizes something. I’m not sure about what’s wrong with him. But the way he stares at my mom is quite odd. As if they knew each ot

  • I Stole The Don's Heart   Chapter 38: Where is your Grandpa?

Sarah’s POV. "Henry! Henry! Come on over here! I say, gesturing beneath the table. Henry rushes towards my side. With his hair falling over his ears and his gloomy eyes are staring at me, he appears to be thirteen years old. He crawls down to the table, and I cover him with the table sheet. Wait, wait, wait. What's happening? Where am I now? These are memories from my childhood. But how? How did I return back at that time? I stare at my palms and ponder. Did I have time travel? My parents were never at home when I was a kid. And Henry always comes to my parent's house to hide his dad. I glance at the furnishings, and indeed, it is. All the old things remain the same. Everything is quite minimal and rusted. The doorbell shouts crazily, as usual, Mr. Lincoln - Henry's father is the one who smashes the button. Saying “I’m coming” then I open the door. In the elegant suit, he was drunk. His burned eyes meet mine when I’m busy thinking about how he ends up being a loser like this.

  • I Stole The Don's Heart   Chapter 37: Henry, You Truly Love Her

Henry’s POV. Sarah! I need to protect you at all costs. I take a look at her, who stands frozen beside me like a snowman. Despite knowing how dangerous this man is, I’ll kill him anyway. There is no mercy for the crazy ones. And there is no mercy for the one who hurts Sarah. My mind drives me to keep my promise to myself that I will never allow myself to fall in love with her. But I shake my head twice to convince myself that it’s because Sarah is my employee, so it’s my duty to protect my people. The man laughs in savage, cutting through the air after he takes the button on his chair. There are so many gun points facing me from the wall, surrounding us on all sides, stopping me from escaping. Fuck it! I embrace Sarah into my arms, covering her from the gunfire shooting at us. I have my bulletproof vest inside my suit, so I’m okay with the bullet rain. I just worry that Sarah will be hurt because of my actions. “Sarah?” I whisper, “Don’t worry, I’m here.” I take Sarah on, and we

  • I Stole The Don's Heart   Chapter 36: Sarah, Let's Come To Our Home

Sarah’s POV. He touches my pussy, making me blush with delight. I don't care what happens now; my head is racing and I want him even more. I reach my hand into his shirt, caressing his hard skin, and every cell in my body melts. We both begin to breathe faster. I know he wants me too. As he let out the breath into my ears, the heat ran over me from head to toe. When I move my hand to touch his dick, something strange happens to my stomach. Oh, crap! It hurts. I clench my teeth in pain because it feels like a thousand arrows are piercing my stomach. Fuck it! Why this time? “Are you okay?” Henry asks me, his eyes wide in the dark as he touches my shoulder lightly. I take a step back and shake my head at his concerns. I check inside the underwear, and I realize the liquids hang on my fingers. No way! “What’s wrong, Sarah? Are you sick?” Henry asks me again, getting closer to me. I look around nervously to remind myself that so many people are watching us. I cannot say it out lo
