It was finally the day for Xavier's father's birthday. Vanessa cleared up all her schedules for today, so that she would be available to fulfil her own part of the deal with Xavier.

It was already 4pm, and Vanessa had already dressed up. She was wearing a long green-gown which reached her feet, and black heels. To be fair, Xavier actually bought this green designer dress for Vanessa. Although Vanessa didn't know the reason why Xavier gave her the gown, she still went ahead and wore it.

Plus, Vanessa wore light pairs of green earrings, and to finish up, she took the green purse that was in her wardrobe.

“I better go out”. Vanessa muttered after she was finished dressing. She came out from her room and soon descended the stairs, where she saw Xavier. He was waiting for her in the living room. Plus, he was wearing black tuxedo.
