Chapter 23

Alessia's POV

I woke up early the next day as if nothing had happened yesterday. I knew it was going to be a normal day for me and I woke up super early and got ready. I feel like everyone in the palace is still asleep.

But I can't sleep anymore because I'm really wide awake. So here I am, it's five in the morning and it's still dark, but I'm already walking down the corridor to the hospital room downstairs.

I see a few waitresses cleaning up. Someone was scrubbing the floor and cleaning the big chandelier.

"Good morning, Mr. Ales," greet the waitresses I pass by and I just nod at them.

I just walked straight until I reached the front door of the hospital room. I grabbed the handle and turned it to open.

I immediately went in but I almost jumped because of a lump I saw and was also surprised. Obviously surprised because of my entry. I couldn't close the door because of the panic.
