Chapter 90: A battle

Emma’s pov

I opened my eyes when I heard Logan getting off the bed.

“What is wrong?” I asked him and he frowned.

“You go back to bed, there is an attack happening,” he said and then walked out.

How can he say that there is an attack happening and then ask me to go back to sleep?

I got out of bed and followed him out.

Everyone was already awake, and I looked around confused.

Why didn’t I hear anything?

Everyone here seems to have heard it but I didn’t hear a thing.

“Please, stay here. Someone could use this to come after you,” Logan said.

I looked at him and nodded.

I felt my stomach sink in when I looked at Camilla, who was looking at me with a smirk.

She is after me, isn’t she?

Is this all her plan?

“Logan, I know you want to protect her. But I think she will be in more danger here than out there,” Taylor said and pointed at Camilla.

I watched as she acted all innocent, like she wasn’t giving me a death glare a few seconds ago.

I looked around the place, and everyone
