"Okay." John shook his head. He let out a long sigh and said nothing else, focusing on driving.

Everly looked out of the window at the heavy snow in silence until she reached Orchid Garden.

Annie and the others came back in one piece.

Everly let out a sigh of relief and returned to her room alone. She shut the door and leaned on it, slid down the door, and slumped onto the floor.
