Chapter 210 Oliver's Attack

Everly appeared to be staring out the window but was actually listening to what they said.

"From now on, if you take Aunt Violet and me out for dinner, I don't want Aunt Violet to feel uncomfortable because of how small this car is," Oliver explained innocently.

Everly's heart skipped a beat, and blush began to creep up her cheeks once again. What surprised her more was that Carson agreed as though Oliver made perfect sense and responded with, "Okay."

"Dad, you are now a single old man with a son. You need to maintain your image. Otherwise, when my mom comes back, she won't marry you. What happens if she goes find someone else?" Oliver added and sighed a long breath, "Then I'm going to become a poor kid without a mother."

"What do you think I should do, then?" Carson asked in a tone as though he was discussing a normal matter.

"I don't know, but…" Oliver grabbed onto Everly's arm and rocked her back and forth, "Aunt Violet, help me."
