INICIAR SESIÓN“You are wet, Red. I can smell your juices already.” He said. I wanted to deny it but I knew he was right. The sides of my thigh were already clammy. How could he tell from afar? “No, I need to sleep. I told you I have a presentation tomorrow, right? I'm tired, I want to rest a bit.” I replied. “You'll do that when I get a release. I'll make sure to be fast about it,” he replied. I stood rooted on the same spot without moving. I knew he was just being civil with me. It was only a matter of time before he dragged me to his side. “Unless maybe you want me to call the others?” He asked but I could tell he was threatening me. Calling the others would end in me not getting any rest at all. “No, please,” I replied walking obediently to his side. ***** Three men, one naive woman. Ziyana never knew her life would turn in the most dramatic way. She enjoyed the life of a princess until life happened. From being hated by her blood to suddenly being sold to a spoilt Mafia Lord. She thought she could navigate through it but there were two more brothers! Ruthless. Domineering. Voracious. The Niccolo Brothers’ lives were full of danger and envy but these men never wanted her out of their sight. Would Ziyana be able to cope in the midst or run for her life before she get used to them?

My father taught me that wealth is the highest power I could acquire for myself. It's the biggest flex of all time. Being able to get what you want no matter where it is or how it is gotten. It not only shows how connected you are but specifically, it shows that you are powerful.
Only that he was wrong.
I'm Ziyana Casimiro, daughter to the mighty and fearless Dario Casimiro, a Mafia Lord in Sicily. My life itself is one that could be regarded as the life of a Princess. I had everything a girl could want; expensive dresses and bags from well known designers, jewelry that cost a fortune, not to mention parties and holidays all over the world. Our home was built on a wide area of land, heavily guarded by the best security facility in Italy. The mere mention of my father's name sends fear down the spines of his enemies.
I had all of my whims catered for, I only had to ask and it would be brought to me. All I did was laze around the house. I never went out for anything, everything I needed had to be done by my lines of maids waiting for my instructions. Even my education has to be done inside of my father's palace by the best professors all over the world. It was safe to say that I know nothing but the happiness and sweetness of the universe.
And then one fateful night, everything crumbled. All that he had ever built fell and never rose again.
What happened?
Death.
The news of my father's demise arrived late that night. It has been difficult to sleep. I could feel that something terrible was about to happen, especially with the weather being windy. The doors and window of our castle rattled against its frame, waking me from my short sleep.
I had padded to my father's office, hoping to meet him bent on piles of papers as always. I opened the door only to see that he hadn't returned. He had left saying that he'd be back before sun sets.
Only that he didn't. He returned in a black casket with a hole in his head. I couldn't forget the gory image as he lay lifeless in the casket as if he'd stand up anytime soon.
None of his loyal men came back with him that evening, only his lifeless body returned. In a blink of an eye, Dario Casimiro, who used to be the most feared, lay in his own blood helplessly.
One after the other, his close friends and associates whose laughter and jokes usually filled the halls of our castle disappeared. None of them wanted to be associated with a fallen hero.
You are probably wondering what happened to me.
I hit rock bottom, crashing hard.
After he was laid to rest, a few of his friends stayed. Some distant relatives who had come, stayed for days more. In those days, all they did was whispered scornful wordsabout me.
‘She's doomed!’
‘Oh, how she'll suffer!’
‘It's a matter of time before she breaks’
They all tried keeping it low but I heard every single of their comments. I never took it to heart because they were wrong. My father had more than enough, so what was there to be afraid of?
To my utter dismay, my father's lawyer, Luca sat me down one night and broke the news.
“Dario's finance was complex, too complicated for you to understand. He had been dealing with a lot before his demise. He only kept it from you, from everyone”
“What about his cars, companies and jets? What do you mean it's complicated?” I asked but he had said nothing. All he did was shrugged his shoulders. At that point I understood that everything was an illusion. I didn't fully get the details but there was nothing left for me in Sicily. I had to leave.
My great aunt Elena took me with her as she returned to the valleys of Naples. Her entire house is synonymous to a bathroom in the palace that I once lived in. Everything there shouted outdated and I even feared that they might collapse on my head.
Every part of her tiny apartment was cold just like her as opposed to the warm and comfy life I was used to. Aunt Elena is a spinster, she never married because according to her, she couldn't find her missing ribs and so, she lived alone. The only thing that mattered to her was how to get the next cash to cater for her cigarette and alcohol.
I accepted fate and began to live with her, getting used to the new life. And then one day, things came crashing once again.
A horrible looking man alongside his minions knocked angrily on our door. Even though she instructed me to lie low, I managed to see the faces of the men and eavesdropped.
“We are here for her,” the one who seemed like the leader had said to her but my aunt feigned ignorance.
“Her father owned me a lot, if no one is willing to pay, I'll take the little girl with me. She'll work off her ass to pay her father's debt.” He instated.
“That won't happen on my watch. Here, take,” I heard her say and I assumed it to be wads of currency.
“This is nothing old witch. Remember I'll be back and you better be ready for me,”he said and I heard the door banged close.
“I didn't take you in to be threatened by loan sharks!” That was the first thing Elena said as soon as she got in. Her brows were furrowed together and her lips curved by the side. That was her signatory face whenever she's angry
“What?” I asked in shock.
“Yes,I thought something good would come out of taking you in but I see now that I made a grave mistake. Your existence here is a mistake.” She spatm
“I'm s__” I started to say but she wasn't going to let me talk.
“Don't you dare finish that statement. I don't want to hear your silly excuses. Just prepare your mind and get ready because the next time those rebels show up here, I might just toss you out to them. I don't want to have anything to do with the daughter of a gambler nor do I want to part with any of my hard earned money.” Her utterances were enough to tell me that I was a great burden to me and she wanted nothing but to get rid of me. She had thought she'd be swimming in money if she took me in but got nothing.
Days after her encounter with the loan sharks, she refused to speak to me. Unless when she muttered curses about ingrates whom I know it's me.
I was sleeping in my tiny room one night when she entered the room without knocking. I sat uprightly in shock wondering what I had done wrong again.
“Get up girl, put this on” she said, tossing a skimpy dress at me. I held the dress in my hand and asked the only thing that mattered.
“Why,where are we going this late?” I queried.
“Job hunting,” she replied and smirked, her lips curving in her usual mischievous way and
for the first time since my father's death, I felt anxious and panicked.
6 months laterZiyana The butterfly flew away just as I touched the flower it had nested on. I took the flower and smelled it. I had a copy of Simon Sinek’s Start with Why in my hand. It's been six months since the incident with Massimo happened. For some reason, my days feel better but my nights are much worse. Every night I dreamt of the torture and suffering from the hands of Viola. I still am not free from them but they have gotten better. I was currently seeking the help of a therapist. I needed one and so when Vittorrio bought the advice, I couldn't resist. I was in dire need of it.And the men, Stefano; he wouldn't stop apologising for all that happened. A part of me knew it wasn't his fault totally. He did send me out but didn't push me into Viola's car. I did that to myself, trusting a total stranger. The house has been dreadfully silent too.It was as if they were avoiding me. The amount of conversations we've had were limited. If I'm being honest with myself, I miss them
Stefano“Please tell me you don't believe this. Daniels suddenly sends you a location. Should I remind you that you threatened him a couple of hours ago?”“And it worked! I told you he had a hand in all of this.” I said.“And he's handing it over to you just like that? All because you promised to tattle him out? Make it make sense man,” Sal reasoned but I was done with that. Anything to find Red “Look, I know it doesn't make sense to you, it doesn't to me too but I have to at least try. If there's even a one percent chance that this is true, I'll take it and find Ziyana. I owe her that much. The rest of the drive was in total silence. I do not know what was going through Salvatore's head but me? I was busy praying that this was true. I'm not a stench believer in faith but I was ready to beg on this. I just want to find Ziyana.“God, I'm going to be sick,” Sal muttered as soon as we got down, walking towards the entrance. From afar, a car flashed its light to us. It was just getting d
Stefano.“You need to slow down, Stefano, before you get us killed,” Sal said cautiously.“Don't worry I have no plan to die, not until I get Ziyana back.”“Hey, watch out! How do you intend to do that? You almost hit that truck!” He shouted.“Good thing I didn't but you cannot blame me. You heard Massimo.I have no time to waste. The earlier the better.”“So where are we heading to?”“Something to leverage Massimo the way he did with me.”“Tell me this isn't what I'm thinking. We are not heading to Chiara are we?”Silence.“Goddamnit Stefano. You know the rules,we don't hurt kids.”“I didn't say I was. I only wanted to have a chat with her,”“The hell you do. I know you too well, like the back of my hands. You don't do chat. I won't let you hurt Chiara and her baby. It's evil?!”“What will you have me do! It's been 3 days. Now we know Massimo took her but I don't know her current state. It's messing with my head. I cannot do a thing without thinking of her. Who knows what Massimo has
Massimo“Tell me once again why he's sitting here with us. For all I know he could be a spy for those bastards.” Viola rolled her eyes as I spoke, unbothered by his presence “Don't be such a dick, Massimo. You have misunderstood the man. Enzo here is part of us.”“Us? How? When? I thought we had a deal. How come you bought a total stranger right into this? He's Salvatore's P.A. What if he's just playing with us? He could be doing this for some sort of promotion. Who knows what's going on in his head?”“You have no business thinking about that do you? If you'd like to know, I'm not pleased to see your face either. You are like the biggest piece of shit out there, you just haven't found out yet.” Enzo replied with sass “You see that?” I asked, facing Viola who had done nothing but grinned as if she was watching some drama.“This is what happens when you bring in a nonentity.”“You are the nonentity,Mas. I wasn't part of this from the beginning but I am now. Get used to this and stop w
Stefano ‘And now, our girl is just there, being tied like a fucking animal,’ Vittoria's statement rang in my head for the umpteenth time. It's been 2 days now and yet I haven't been able to forget the accusations of Vittorrio. It wasn't an accusation per se, he was right. I turned her away. I told
Daniels “What the fuck!?” I exclaimed as the moderator mentioned my name. The entire room went silent for a moment, as if they couldn't believe their ears. Even me cannot believe it. Not that I do not rate myself,I do. I'm the best at what I do but I never thought I could get the contract When I
MassimoMy hands trembled slightly on the steering and as I got out of the Fabiano Mansion. The heavy steel door closed behind me with a bang. I stopped the car for a while and sighed, rubbing my face with my hands.I still couldn't believe that Chiara would oust me like that. I mean, I didn't part
Chiara“At this point, I no longer know what to do,” Anna whined as she continuously rubbed my back. That was the third time that morning that I'd vomited the little I had. I know what I said about wanting to be a mother but this? This point of not knowing what to do and what to do was simply overw
