Still in Denial

Aubrey's POV

"She had no right." Meg exclaimed as I held her by the shoulder drawing her back from hitting Lila again.

" Says the pitiful woman who has nothing to her name." Lila retorted as she rubbed her eyes which she received the punch.

" Get out of this place right now. That's why you haven't found a mate. Who would want you with all your baggage?" Meg replied angrily.

"Make me."

I held Meg back from lunging at her, she was very furious on my behalf. " Meg, it's okay, let her be."

" She doesn't have no right to speak to you in that way. How dare she?" Meg replied angrily and I held on to her tight. I was afraid that she was going to do something terrible to Lila.

"You have no right to tell me what to do. See you simping over a little girl. Tell her the truth, she will never be welcomed here. She wants to waste her life over nothing."

" You are just a bitter woman." Meg shouted at her.

" Why don't you leave, Lila? You are stressing her." I suggested and Lila turned his eyes
