A memorable one

Lily after having her dinner, came to the room and waited for Mark’s call as she was told by Elly. She was on her desk chair, staring at the phone as if she believed Mark would call her anytime. She was getting nervous at the same time but somewhere in her heart she knew that Mark would call her definitely.

Two hours passed like this and she fell asleep on the chair. Her head was swinging left and right when it almost hit the desk in front of her but Mark put his hand on her forehead thus saving her head from bumping against the table. “You must be tired,” Mark murmured and then pulled the chair back, carried up Lily in his strong arms and then placed her gently in the bed.

He then covered her up from the blanket and got on his knees. “I got my best sleep when I was with you. When I will be in Velrenia, I don’t think I will be going to get such a sleep.”
